"Fun and entertaining book"

This book is a super one, my little boy really enjoys me reading this to him. There is a lot for them to explore and the textures are great for sensory development. A must have book for every little one.

"Nice and bright"

A lovely bright book, with bits to touch - no story/excitement to it so not a book I would personally buy.

"Lovely and colourful"

A really bright, colourful book that seems to be loved by both of my kids - 14 months and 3.5. There's lots to feel on each page as well as flaps to open. It's not a story book, so probably best for younger toddlers/babies. Our 14 month old loves it so much that she's been carrying it around much like her teddy bear, cuddling it....so I'd say it's a hit!

"Eye-catching and engaging book"

This is a lovely, sturdy board book with 5 double-spread pages. It has lots of touchy-feely bits, which are made up of different textures and fabrics, aswell as lots of flaps to open. I have a 12 month old, and the flaps have stood up well to him so far after a week of use! Most of the pages have cut-outs with textured areas, which when you turn the page, follow through to another page. So for instance on one page, there's a fluffy white cauliflower, turn over and it's actually part of a sheep! That part is a bit over my 12 month old's head, but my 4 year old thinks it's funny and enjoys pointing it out to his younger brother. It's really brightly coloured, and each page has some simple phrases such as "who's hiding" which provide good repetition for the age of child it's aimed at. It also includes the noise each animal makes, which is just the right level of text for my 12 month old. It also means his 4 year old brother can recognise and remember enough words to read it to him, which they both enjoy. The RRP for the book is £7.99, which I would say is quite expensive - I'd expect to pay more like £5.99. Having said that, the book is lovely and good quality so perhaps it costs quite a bit to make, and it does feel as though it will last well.
