Top Tips from the Baby Whisperer Sleep

Customer Reviews

"Good tips"

The baby whisperer offers some sound advice on how to get your baby to sleep for longer stretches at night. It explains the importance of rountines and firmly explains that a consistant approach is required. I liked the practical approach it took and felt that anyone can use these techniques. It explains the importance of getting into good habits from the start and not falling into what she calls accidential parenting. One aspect of the programme I liked was that the author Tracy does not advocate controlled crying which I have found very difficult with my older children. She firmly believes that trust needs to be built between parents and baby and that the baby should not be left to cry. The book is quite repetitve in its advice but this is because she believes that the process parents needs to follow is a set pattern pretty much regardless of the babies age. This book has made me feel more prepared to get a baby to sleep better and shown that a team approach is needed with both parents being consistant. The book is a nice size and its layout means you can dip in and out and don't have to read the whole book. Its retail price is similar to other books that claim to achieve the same outcomes.
