"fab"

another fab item from organix , my 3 year old scoffed the lot, he has been eating organix finger food since he was 8 months old and would prefer them to usual crisp and biscuits, they are also a huge hit with my 6 month old

"Fantastic"

My 11 month old is a big fan of the other flavours of these rice cakes and i knew these would be a hit too! He loved them, flavour not too sweet and even my 3 year old wanted to try them! Definitely recommend them highly!!

"fantastic and very yummy"

My 11month old little boy loves these as a treat after meals or just as a snack mid afternoon. They are fab and the way he munches them they must be very yummy. Great little finger foods for promoting hand eye co-ordination, chewing and independance/feeding themselves. I would highly recommend them :-D

"Nice treat."

I have a 3 year old and a 15 month old girls. Nice little treat for the girls, but not every day as they didnt seem to keen. Nice texture, easy to hold for little fingers as found with the youngest. They did seem a little sticky compared to some of the other flavors of rice cakes but that could just be its been very hot recently. Overall nice treat but not for everyday.

"Organix multigrain hearts"

Fantastic product, very good for hand/eye coordination. My son loves having these as a snack

Score Sheet

"Multigrain hearts"

I thought these would be a handy healthy snack. I suspect I liked the idea of them more than my son actually enjoyed the flavour, as they are really quite bland in comparison to some other Organix snacks, such as the rice cakes and cheese and herb puffs. I did try these after he had already been introduced to the other tastier snacks, so maybe they would have been more successful as a very first finger food. I do like organix products in general and trust that they are fairly healthy and nutritious.

"Mulitgrain Hearts"

My 12 month old really likes the multigrain hearts. It's nice to have another snack to give her too. It's nice they are small to help her use her pincer grip too, but they aren't the best snack to take out and about because of this as you'd need to put them in a bowl/on a surface for the smaller children (rather than hand one at a time). Personally, I think they are really bland! But, when I show her the packet she gets excited and eats all that I give her! So they are a hit with the person who matters.

"My son loves these"

My son is 8 months old and is getting the hang of holding his own finger food and feeding himself. I've found these rice cakes great as a snack and my son can happily polish of 1 or 2 at a time. He found them easy to hold, even on the first attempt and slowly gums the rice cake to make it soft enough to swallow. He's had 3 different flavours from this range and has loved them all. They are an easy snack to take out and I always have 3 or 4 in a small container in my bag in case he decides to get whingy and these always calm him down without fail. They are also great for me as my son has to have a gluten free diet at the moment, which these are. There are loads of snacks for babies such as biscuits on the market but he can't eat them, so I'm so happy to have discovered these. I have also found the price of these cheaper than some of the other alternatives on the market so not only tasty but good value. I'll be using these for a while to come!

"A real tasty snack!!!"

I have always been a lover of organix finger foods and we are never without some in our cupboards for my 14 month old son! We recently tried the carrot and tomato rice cakes and they were a huge hit! What I love about them is that they are a healthy alternative to crisps and are made from entirely organic products. They come in an attractive packet with bright colours to appeal to young people, and the rice cakes themselves are bright orange which my son loves!! As soon as he saw the packet and recognised that it was an organix product he got very excited and put his hand out. He LOVED these! He ate about 3 all in one go and has had them every day for the last week! They smell very appetising which is a big bonus! They usually retail for about £1 per packet, which is very good value as I usually seal them with a bag clip and 1 packet lasts about a week! I will no doubt still be buying them when my son goes to school for his lunch box! I have highly recommended these rice cakes to all of my mummy friends and they will be looking out for them in the shops!

My 9month old daughter absolutely loves ORGANIX FINGER FOODS carrot & tomato rice cakes. I will be buying them in the future and tell other mums about them.

"tasty "

My 14 month old son loves Organix rice cakes so I was very pleased to be sent this new flavour to try. He thoroughly enjoyed them. They are a healthy snack that are easy to take out and about and always seem to go down well as a snack. Once opened they keep fresh for a couple of weeks so the bag usually gets finished.

"Bright, Yummy & ideal for small hands"

My 16 month old daughter loves these rice cakes. We have bought Organix products in the past and have never been displeased so were very glad that there are these new flavour of rice cakes to test. When they arrived and I asked my daughter if she wanted one, she immediately got excited and I think that's because the packet is so bright and appealing. The cakes themselves are bright orange and fragrant (but don't mark or stain clothing). I tried one and they weren't bad and not as bland as I expected. I kept the packed in a sealed container and they are still crispy 2 weeks on. I like the fact that we now have a savoury option to offer our children as opposed to the standard sweet versions. They are reasonably priced and readily available and will definately be on our future shopping list.

"Always go down a treat"

We have had Organix ricecakes in our household for 4 years now and are always a favourite healthy treat. We usually have the sweet flavours- berries or apple, but this is a nice savoury alternative, and will be great for my eldest's lunchbox. My youngest is 11 months and I also look after a 18month old- these ricecakes went down well with both today as a snack-a handy size a nice mild flavour. They are good value for money and keep well when stored in a container. Great to know they are Organic too.

Score Sheet

"love them"

My little girl loves all the fruit flavoured rice cakes and i am always searching for alternative savoury snacks so was really pleased to recieve these. I was a little concerned that the bright orange on the rice cakes would stain her clothes but this washed out fine (with some stain remover to be on he safe side). My daughter loved the flavour and polished one off very quickly as did my husband who agreed that they weren't that bad! The only problem i could find with them is that they are quite thick so may be a bit difficult for babies that dont have any teeth but apart from this i thought they were a very good product and great to have a savoury choice.

Score Sheet

"Great for teethers!"

We have used Organix products before, but this new flavour seemed to go down particularly well my twins. They are great to take out and about and I have since bought some to keep in my handbag in case of emergencies!! But the best thing about them is that as my babies are teething it gives them something to chomp on and seems to soothe them if they are a bit tetchy (and they're healthy too!!)

Score Sheet

"Yum Yum Yum thank you Mum"

These are soooo great, I cannot recommend them quick enough! My baby loves this new flavour and I feel he is getting "goodness" rather than just a biscuit. They are great for his teeth and he is teething badly at the moment. I can normally get about 10 of these rice cakes into my little tupperware container that I take out in my bag. Great for when he starts to get whingy or we are not quite yet at food time, they keep him going. Very good value for money too and last a week or so once opened (I usally seal mine with a clip just to make sure though). They are very flavoursome (I have tried one!) and my 5 year old also loves them too so we go through a few bags in our household on a weekly basis! So, to summarise: Good for little hands, good for teeth and gums, good for a snack for whole family, great value. GO BUY TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Organix Tomato and Carrot Rice Cakes"

My youngest has never been a fan of finger food before now, she's just far too lazy!!! These were great and really encouraged her to try and feed herself. It's great to know that I (or Mum) can give her a nice tasty snack that she will enjoy that doesn't contain too much salt, sugar, fat etc..... There were a couple of things that I thought I should mention. Firstly the bag is very large. Lucklily we also have a 2 and a half year old toddler who will help our little girl share a bag, otherwise it would last us about a month!! Secondly, although they do not contain anything artifical, they have still managed to stain a few tops. The packaging does warn of this and maybe we should have been more careful. Just make sure there are wipes at hand and keep sticky fingers off of soft furnishings!!!!

Score Sheet

"ideal finger foods."

These were great for Erin who is enjoying self feeding. They do have a taste so Erin wanted more. I think they make a good snack and also provided Erin with something to get her teeth into when teething. These are good value for money. The packet is quite big and lasted a good few days i would like to see them come in asealable bag as this would help with freshness.

"fantastic finger food"

i have used organix rice cakes before but was very pleased to see the new flavour to try. my daughter who is 15mths is very into finger foods and she absolutely loved these once given one it was gone in seconds. The only bad point i would give them is that they do stain clothing so a couple of her tops now have orange stains on them.

"my son loved them !!"

My 17month old son absolutely loved them. They are very handly to have as a snack or for a picnic. The flavour I was not so sure of but I tasted one too and they are very tasty!! I also let my 8yr old, 3 yr old and 4yr old tried one too and they all enjoyed them. The problem I could see is the size for any child younger than 12 months would not recommend to ,unless broken up into smaller pieces which my sister found. Other than that this product is great for all other ages including adults.

Score Sheet

"Tasty and handy"

My 9 month baby girl really enjoyed these handy snacks. She has had rice cakes before but this new carrot and tomato flavour went down a treat, a definate favourite. They are really handy to take out as a snack and work really well with the baby led weaning that we've done. My only criticsm is that they could come in smaller packets, as younger babies may only eat 2 or 3 at a time and so smaller packets would mean less hassle putting in air tight containers...or risk wasting the leftover ones (or eating yourself)....

Score Sheet

"Popular in our house"

My daughter really liked the new flavour of rice cakes. The great thing about them is that they are not a quick bite and take a while to eat therefore buying you some time when distraction is needed especially good for when you are in the supermarket. The only issue I have with rice cakes is that when she was younger she would choke on them quite a bit so I would recommend waiting until they are bit older to eat them.

"carrot & tomato rice cakes"

When we received these we were quite excited as we often use Organix products and so we had to open them up and try them as soon as possible!! Grace was unsure of the taste at first but after a few rice cakes she truly loved them! the smell when we opened them was quite strong but she loved them anyway! the packet was the right size to pack into our changing/day bag so she could nibble while in the buggy etc! if Grace is happy so am i so i would recommend this to friends and family anytime.

"not a favourite with my 2 "

I took the organix finger foods to nursery as a treat for the children as i collected them. The children are usually hungry so thought these would make a good healthy snack for the walk home. My youngest child rejected them straight away, and refused to have any more. My older child initially said he didnt like them, but then asked for more. He did eat most of them however when i have offered to by them again the children were not so keen. Its a pity as they are clearly a healthier snack then ordinary crisps, however my 2 children did not enjoy them.

Score Sheet

"not for us"

We tried these with my one year old as an alternative to the plain rice cakes. He has tried the plain ones in the past but didnt like so we thought a bit of flavour may persuade him to eat a healthier snack. Unfortunatly he didnt like them. He licked the flavouring and handed it back to me. I tried him a few times but he wasnt willing to try. I gave the pack to his nursery and some of the other babies were more eager to eat them.

"Went down a treat"

My son of 18 months has been eating rice cakes for a while now, he loved this new flavour. They are so handy for taking with us when we go out and i know its a healthier snack. I really like Organix products anyway and I will be buying these in the future.

Score Sheet

"Not for us"

By the time we tried this product my youngest son was 14 months old. Therefore he wasnt interested and wanted things like soft crisp snacks. When he was younger though i would always reach for the Organix range first.

Score Sheet

"sticky "

From an adults point of view i found them well priced however the rice cakes themselves were slightly too sticky and they would either benefit from a smaller pack or a resealable packet. Several ended up in the bin due as they were not as fresh once opened :( My son who is not a big fan of finger foods at all seemed to enjoy the flavor of them and would happily lick away at them but he was not at all keen on the texture when chewing. i believe a child that does not have issues with different textures in their mouth would really enjoy them. My 4 year old had a sample taste and found them delicious !

Score Sheet

"should come in a smaller or resealable bag and age quite messy"

my one year old loves the organix crisp type snacks but was not so interested in these strawberry rice cakes and played around with them more than eating them meaning he ended up with sticky bits of rice cake on his clothes and hands and it's pretty hard to clean off with a wipe as it's so sticky. you get quite a lot in a bag too and they go stale fairly quickly. a resealable bag would solve this problem.

Score Sheet

"Jury still out"

Gave the multigrain hearts with strawberry to my 15 month out who I have been practicing baby led weaning with since he was 6 months and although he ate most of them I'm not sure he entirely enjoyed them. After trying some myself I found them to be a little bland and the only thing I can think has put him off them is that he is used to more flavoursome food but would imagine it is perfect for a first experience of food! He spent more time playing with them than eating but due to the snacks size I can imagine that it would help develop the child's pincer grip if first starting out.

"Great snack "

My son loves these and has had them since he was 9 months old. They have a range of flavours and they are just the right size for little hands! Great for self feeding and little mess! Great as a healthy snack.

"Lovely flavours, needs a resealable pack!"

We have been buying Organix finger foods for a long as I can remember since having children. My older children (7,6) really like these and have started giving them to my 7month old. They are a great snack but are very sticky and can create a bix of a mess once soggy and crumbled! Ideally the packaging either needs to be resealable or it needs to be a smaller bag. Value for money - Pretty good, especially when on offer.

Score Sheet

"Yummy snacks "

I have been trying out the Organix apple flavoured rice cakes on my 7 month old who has recently started on solids. She loves them. The biggest problem I have is keeping them away from my 2.5 year old who also loves them! They are a great snack and are good for entertaining my little one when out and about. The bag is pretty big. It would be useful if it could be re sealed - currently the rice cakes go soft if not eaten in a few days. Pretty good value for money and are quite often on special offer.

Score Sheet

"Excellent!"

My youngest son absolutely loves these rice cakes! He's just over 7 months old and has been eating solids for around 3 months now. He gets very frustrated when his big brother is eating his own dinner and these rice cakes have been a life saver. They are a great size. Small enough to hold himself but not too small that it would worry a nervous mummy like me! They can be a little sticky and break up very easily. But I feel that is quite a good thing because it shows how they dissolve easily and won't end up as a large lump in my sons mouth. The bag is a great size and will last quite some time. I reseal that bag with a clip and they stay nice and fresh. Overall I think they're a great item to go alongside weaning and have already purchased the other available flavours.

"Guilt free snack for baby"

My son is 10 months old and really enjoys these rice cakes. They are ideal for when you are out and about and are so nice that I eat them too! Equally good at home too. They are a great size for a baby learning to feed themselves, not too dry either. What would make them even better would be to have them in smaller packs. There are quite a lot of them in one pack which would need to be consumed within a couple of days or so. Once opened you feel inclined to eat the pack as it's rather big and they will go stale. Other than that (very minor niggle) I can't fault the product. I will continue to buy this product.

Score Sheet

"Great "

My son is 8.5 months and has loved these. They are very easy to hold and dissolve very easily when sucked. He loves the apple flavoured ones and we will be keen to try the different flavours too.

Score Sheet

"Didn't enjoy the rice cakes! "

My daughter didn't like the apple rice cakes. Not only are these very sticky and messy my daughter couldn't eat them as she hasn't cut any teeth yet. She is 10 months. I'm guessing these would be easier to eat with teeth! My daughter sucked on one and nearly choked when it broke up in her mouth. I won't be buying these again sorry.

Score Sheet

"Great for Snacks and On The Go"

My 11 month old has been eating these kind of snacks since she was 6 months old. They are great for on the go when you just need a quick snack, or when they can't wait any more for food! The banana biscuits are great for a pudding instead of a yoghurt or fruit. They do break up very easily however and once the packet is open they do not reseal (we had to empty the contents into a sealed tub to keep them hard). This is the same for the rice cakes, I think a resealable packet would make these much better!

Score Sheet

"great tasting snacks"

My daughter has been baby-led weaned and loves the finger foods for snacks and part of her lunchtime meals. The rice cakes and the biscuits have a natural taste. I have stored the opened packets in airtight containers and they have kept well like that. Will definitely continue to purchase these finger foods for her.

Score Sheet

"fab"

These are great my son has been doing baby-led weaning and they are perfect, good size for him to hold they break up pretty easy but not too quickly. I stored the packet in an air tight box for a couple of days and they still stayed fresh. Also they are great for on the go - quick, easy and a good little fill between mealtimes.

"Tasty yet Healthy"

We've just tried the Organix Apple Rice Cakes and Banana Biscuits. I tested these on my 9 month old baby who is a confident and happy eater. I also let my 2 year old try them as well. I found my weaner liked both of these items. The rice cakes were a handy snack to pass to the little one whilst her meal was being heated or cooled, they softened quickly in her mouth - i tried one too! - this made them easier to swallow. The banana biscuits were great as an out and about snack, not much mess either and again disolved easily. They were a great shape for a baby to pick up and hold too. The packaging for the banana biscuits was good and all the biscuits were solid and not broken, unlike other brands with similar biscuits. I also tried the biscuits and found them great to taste. I like the fact that both snacks were easy for out and about, healthy tasting but fun. Super ingredients in both with no dodgy stuff, which is a big deal to my family. I would recommend and buy both these again!

Score Sheet

"Banana biscuits "

The banana biscuits were great as a little snack for my 8 month old girl and for finger food, didn't cause too much mess. They are a good shape and size for a baby to pick up and hold. Myself and my 2.5 year old also tried the biscuits and neither of us liked them at all but that's probably because we are used to sweeter tasting biscuits so that's a good comment on these baby biscuits and means for once my little one will be able to have something of her own without her big brother stealing it on her. I will be buying these again.
