Hauck Run Sun Buggy
Tom is at the age where he can walk, run, stumble and can keep up with my pace but, as we all know, sometimes toddlers just crumble and want to be picked up. However as he weighs more than my left leg this is not feasible. So I bought the Hauck Run Sun buggy. This buggy is extremely light and easy to extend. It's also simple to pack up for those moments when you have run for the bus only to notice at the last minute that there are another fifteen buggies already on board. However, the locking switch can occasionally end up folded in the buggy so you do need to check where this is or be left with a buggy that unfolds in front of 46 very annoyed passengers. The fabric is wipeable for spills and ours has come in a jolly sky-blue.
There are down sides though, such as the responsiveness of the front wheels, which have a tendency to lock on uneven ground. Also the overall balance of the buggy, in motion, means that it isn't as easy as some others when it comes lifting the front wheels in order to go over kerbs. There's no inbuilt holdall either for all those snacks, drinks, extra tops and robot ducks. It might seem like a minor point but this is probably the most important negative.
This is a nice, easy to use little buggy but one that is possibly better as an extra one that you can keep in reserve, or in the car. For longer, more comfortable trips there are better ones on the market but few that match the incredibly low price of £29.99!
