"Fun, Fun, Fun."

We are a family of 2 adults & 2 children, we visited on a Sunday in May. The weather was mostly dry but quite cold! That didn't ruin our visit! It was not too busy, so there was plenty of time to enjoy looking at the animals without hordes of people. The giraffes were fabulous and actually came to greet us, even leaning right over so we could all stroke and pet their heads. The other animals were also brilliant and the lions were amazing! The kids and us adults were enthralled and could have watched them all day. In the Zoo, all the animals enclosures were a very good size and were extremely clean. All the animals looked well-cared for and appeared content. Another hit were the ostriches and the penguins which we all loved. The children were fascinated to be told that Folly Farm is the only place in Wales that has giraffes. Cwtch corner was wonderful and it was an amazing and lovely sight to see the lambs getting bottle fed. We saw piglets, sheep, chickens, donkeys and horses which for a 5 year old horse lover was truly spectacular. The information available throughout Folly Farm was not only educational and inspirational but also exciting for the children and, dare I say it, the adults to hear and learn. The funfair is very well run and also clean. There are exciting rides for children and adults. The dodgem cars were a massive thrill for my son, the Ferris wheel is the ride for the whole family. There is a wide assortment of exciting and fun rides in the fair and this experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all the family. There is a Land Train which takes you on a tour to the outdoor paddocks where there are many rare animals and also a deer park. Again, an absolute and astounding hit with all the family. The indoor adventure playground, the magical and mystery woods and the various outdoor parks are all designed to keep your children and the adults occupied for hours. The only real problem with Folly Farm is that there are not enough hours in the day to enjoy absolutely everything. We arrived within an hour of opening and stayed till closing. I would say categorically that Folly Farm, with its very competitive entrance fees is one of the best days out that a family could visit. It makes no difference if the weather is cold or hot, rainy or overcast. Folly Farm is educational, inspirational and a fun filled, amazing experience. I would recommend Folly Farm to all and we will definitely be visiting again soon. We went to Folly Farm with Josh 8 and Amy 5
