Exploring different foods is a great way to help encourage toddler independence and a sense of adventure with food, why not try this fun food face activity
This fun food face, made with fresh vegetables and Organix Goodies alphabet biscuits and raisins, will make the kids giggle and encourage little ones to try different foods.
1. Prepare the vegetables: cut two slices of cucumber, slice one grape in half, cut the cherry tomato in half and grate a carrot length-ways so you have lovely long strips for the hair.
2. For the eyes, place the cucumber slices on a plate next to each other, and place half a grape on top of each cucumber slice. Use half of the tomato for the nose, add about 5 Goodies raisins below the tomato nose to create a mouth shaped in a smile. Use the carrot strands as hair.
3. Finally use the Organix alphabet biscuits to spell a word below with your toddler we kept it foodie with the word eat.
