  • Cracked black pepper to taste 2g
  • 1 burger bun 65g
  • 1 ½ tablespoon tomato relish 15g
  • 1 tablespoon lowest fat mayonnaise 12g
  • 1 teaspoon wholegrain mustard 4g
  • Large handful mixed leaf including rocket 30g
  • 3 cherry tomatoes halved 45g
  • Small piece grated crumbled cheese e.g. parmesan, Cheddar, blue, goat 10g

  • 8 mins

Heat grill to maximum temperature.

To make the mustard mayonnaise, mix the wholegrain mustard and mayonnaise together.

Prepare your dressed green salad. Put the vinegar, oil, mustard and seasoning into a screw top jar and shake vigorously. Toss salad in the dressing.

Swiftly roll the minced beef in your hands and pat into a burger shape. Place your beef burger under the hot grill for 3 or 4 minutes each side. Lower the heat to medium or move the burger down to the bottom rung on the grill. Cook for a further 3 or 4 minutes. Whilst the burger is in its final cooking stage - lightly toast the burger bun and smear with the mustard mayonnaise and tomato relish.
Pop the burger on the bun. Add your green salad and serve.
