With Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas coming up, here's how you can keep your home safe.
There are more than 40,000 house fires in the UK every year, and the time around Halloween and Bonfire Night can be particularly hazardous.
Bonfire Night is Britain's annual celebration of November 5. We usually celebrate with bonfires, fireworks displays and of course sparklers at our homes and in public.
But these celebrations can be very dangerous!
Here are FIREWORKS SAFETY TIPS:
Only adults should deal with setting up firework displays, the lighting of fireworks and the safe disposal of fireworks once they have been used. Children and young people should watch and enjoy fireworks at a safe distance
Here are SPARKLERS SAFETY TIPS:
Sparklers are often viewed as being harmless but they burn at fierce temperatures, equivalent to a welding torch.
