My 10 Best Hot Cloth Cleansers

My 10 Best Hot Cloth Cleansers
We all know we should be virtuously cleansing, but at the end of a long day of pregnancy or parenting, taking off our make-up at bedtime can feel like a real chore.

Still, if you want great skin, it's a must. So we may as well try to make it pleasurable.

That's why my current love affair is with hot cloth cleansers: creamy, balmy, soft textured creams that usually come with their own soft muslin cloth for removal.

Simply smear the cream over your skin in circular motions, dislodging make-up and dirt from the day.

Then soak the cloth in hot water, squeeze out excess, open it out, close your eyes and apply over your whole face to help open your pores.

I like to breathe in deeply at this point, inhaling the aromatic scents from the cleanser.

Then simply wipe away all traces of the cream (plus adhered cosmetics and grime) from your face, exfoliating away dead skin cells as you do.

Simple, but effective. And a warm cloth feels great on the skin, too.

After 19 years, Liz still only makes one cleanser because – I have to agree - it's practically perfect in every way.
