Poundworld shoppers are being warned about the recall of two Halloween costume items due to a 'potential safety issue'.
According to the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, the shop is recalling its Children's Hair Raising Mask and Children's Hair Raising Hands.
The notice says: "Poundworld has identified a potential safety issue with (these) products.
"Customer safety and satisfaction are of paramount importance to us, therefore we have issued this product recall."
The notice also said anyone who has purchased these items should stop using them immediately and return them to get a refund.
Staff apologised for the inconvenience but no other details have been released about what the potential safety issue is.
