"Gorgeous Multi handy Wrap"
My first thought when seeing these blankets was how cute they were! I loved the cute little elephant animals on them! My second thought was how big they were. One of my biggest problems with most of the baby blankets I either bought when I was expecting a baby or received as baby gifts was have they outgrew them after about the first three months.
The swaddle blanket couldn’t have come at a better time. My daughter loved to be swaddled, but the blanket i was using was really fleecy and thick, which was making her pretty hot and sweaty in the night. It was hard trying to settle her without her being wrapped up so tight, i always worry about overheating. This arrived and it was soft & so lightweight.
It’s been great to use when out if she’s been sick, to use to change her bum & even a sunshade for the pram. I’ve taken this blanket everywhere & the amount of times ive washed it, it looks as good as new. Somehow they have not stained either despite sometimes being used to mop up messes.
The booklet that came with it shows you step by steps different ways of swaddling which i think is fantastic as if one way didn’t settle her the other did. I thought this was a fantasic product, defo a thumbs up from me

"Lovely Material"
I used this aden and anais muslin swaddle wrap on my three week old. As my baby boy was quiet small i feel there is a lot of material to swaddle him in, in my opinion too much. I'm also not keen on swaddling as it is recommended by all of the medical and heath professions that the safest way to cover your baby is the feet to foot position.
I have used this for covering my baby up whilst breast feeding and have found this a more useful way to use this item for me and my baby.
The quality of the material is very nice and soft and has a nice white background with pail green spotts lovely for a boy or girl.
I think this is good value for money.
I would buy some of these again but not for the purpose of swaddling i would use them for covering over whilst breast feeding.

"Not that keen"
I have tried this on my 6 week old, and whilst i think the product is very stylish the material is very soft and the design is fun. I am not very keen on the swaddling idea especially when you are told the safetst way to cover your baby is in the feet to foot position.
Having said this the wrap has come in handy for other ways on using it, It makes an extra blanket especially in the hot weather, as a sunshade and as an extra big bib come burb cloth.
I do think that they are very expensive (starting at £13 for 1 wrap) and cannot see myself purchasing this product.

"very soft"
i use a aden and anais muslin swaddle wrap for my daughter who is 15 months old. she is a bit big to be swaddled at night now as she moves around alot, but she loves being wrapped up cuddled on the sofa for a little nap. the muslin is huge 47"x47", the one we have has a frog pattern on and is really cute. i was surprised at how warm it kept my baby, perfect for keeping in the changing bag as it dosent take up too much room and can be used as a blanket, a changing cloth, you can use it over the pram to keep the sun off, loads of uses. i have washed it 3 times and its getting softer and softer, i think its a bit pricey at 22.99, but would make a great gift.

"lets see you escape that one hudini "
these wraps are amazing.
having read the online 'blurb' i was expecting a big muslin wrap....this far exceeded that!
My youngest is still small even at 6 weeks and I think my husband summed it up well with "how am i going to swaddle him in that??" cue material everywhere and hubby in knots. However once you get the instructions out that come with it you find it is actually very easy, and looks very snuggly....perhaps a market here for an adult version??
Given this heat wave we are getting (on and off) the wrap has actually come in very useful for putting over baby in his pram instead of a thick blanket and placing over the hood to make a sunshde.
The wrap also makes a very useful bib come burb cloth come barrier to catch milky dribbles/sick and the smile on my sons face when i tucked it in next to him today was a picture as he grabbed it with his hand and held it closer.
The only drawback to this for me is the price, they are very expensive (starting at £13 for 1 wrap) however when you compare this to other goods on the market it's not that much more and will probably last until baby is much bigger....ooops think I may have talked myself into buying him another one.

"loved it"
Have always been a fan of muslins in general and swaddling so was looking forward to reviewing this. Have always swaddled my babies and this is a great size especially since number 4 was 11lb so is large enough to wrap him in from day one. Its design is great and washes well. Slighty pricey but I think the size and practicality makes up for that. My only problem is trying to use it for the baby as my other 3 like to "borrow" it for their dollies, playing ghosts and general snuggling with it.

"A newborn essential"
I am currently on daughter number 3 and although I have heard of swaddling before have never actually tried it - how I wish I had!
The aden and anais muslin swaddle wrap has to be the most superior muslin I have ever felt, it is so soft, even after drying outside on the washing line it remains beautifully soft, perfect for wrapping a newborn in. It is a very generous size, comes in some absolutely gorgeous designs and can be bought singly, or in packs of 2 or 4, which is very handy for spares.
If you are a complete novice at swaddling, you don't have to guess because the wrap comes with a very comprehensive booklet which clearly illustrates how to swaddle your baby, it also has lots of other practical advice on babies sleep, making this an ideal gift for any new parent.
The first night I swaddled my daughter she slept much better, she is a baby who likes to be cuddled but with 2 other children it is not always possible. As soon as I swaddled her she settled, she obviously felt very safe and secure. It has been an absolute god send to me.
Once your babies swaddling days are over the wrap has a dozen other uses and I would definitely recommend buying at least a double pack because once you start using it you will not want to be without it.
I cannot recommend this beautiful wrap highly enough, it is worth every penny.

"Good as a present"
These are lovely and soft, and very long. I found the swaddle wrap to be brilliant for wrapping a newborn up tightly. I had been a little concerned that the twins would be cold when I used muslin, but both girls seemed to be fine. Don't know how warm they would be in a Scottish winter, with all the snow we get though. I can imagine them being great in the summer months, as it will help keep them cooler, while still wrapped up.
The swaddle wraps are very easy to use, and even come with a little booklet giving you tips on how to swaddle a baby. I still used a blanket over the top of the muslin swaddle wrap - paranoia over the temperature of the twins as despite it supposed to be spring, it is very cold here.
I had a wee look on the website and at £15.95 I think this is a little pricey. Although there are some really funky designs that I would consider buying as a present to others. For me to buy a few for each child would work out very expensive. It is something I have to consider having twins, although may not be a consideration for others.
I haven't had the chance to wash it yet so cant say how well it washes.
There is a fight in my house who gets the swaddle wrap now though. The twins or Ella's dollies. She wants to wrap her dollies up the way we do to the twins.
Overall this is a good product, and I am sure we will be using it lots when we go on holiday. I like the fact they can be used to cover a pram etc to keep the sun out. Plus they also double as a mosquito net for the pram, while keeping the baby cool. Definately worth having, even better if you have received it as a present.
