"great value"
Despite having to wait a while before we could use the product (what did happen to our promised bar-be-que summer last year!) we eventually managed to use the sun cream range from Wilko and found it to be fine. It was a bit runnier than creams I've previously used which took some getting use to, but would definately consider using again. My son who does have eczema flares was fine using this product as well which I was pleased with as its a lot cheaper than the ones I'd previously purchased for school etc.

"Mixed feelings"
I had some Wilko's sun products to try on my 3 children. The factor 25 coloured suncream and spray were very thick in consistency and took a while to absorb into the skin. I also had problems using the trigger on the spray although this may have been a problem with this particular bottle. The cream was easier to use but again, I found it took a while to rub into the skin. It was quite sticky and I found it was difficult to wash off my hands and out of towels, clothing etc. On the plus side it stopped any of my children getting sunburnt and therefore did the job. If this product was on special offer I would consider purchasing it but if I am honest I wouldn't pay full price for it.

"great for toddlers!!"
ive used a few different ranges of suncare over the last couple of years, i found this one of the best ive used on the kids, it has a lovely smell, a great lilac colour (that made me 3 year old daughter want to wear it) and is very easy to use, my youngest daughter has sensitive skin and i was a little worried about using it on her but we had no problems with her...i would totally recomend this sun care range to other mothers

"no burn"
We ve just got back from a lovely holiday in turkey ( hotel concorde de lux great for kids ) we packed with us the lovely wilko sun spray spf 50 and spf 50 lotion. Both were in nice clear strudy packaging so no nasty spills in case whilst traveling ! The colour of both is a lovely light fresh purple which helps see where applyed which was great and there no strong fragrance which was nice. Only down point was found it hard to rub in so that took bit of time but most spf50 are little thicker so that no uncommon, also our cleaner must have wondered what the purple marks on bed sheets were from the morning applying session as it does mark when dripped !! overall though was very pleased and they very good value for money. The most important thing being that our son didnt burn once !!!

"Purple everywhere!"
This was a good basic lotion which did the job well- no-one got burnt, but didn't really like the sticky feel and the purple colour got everywhere.
It was easy to see where cream was applied, but the spray was difficult to control amount used and went on lots of surfaces and awkward to wash off when out for day.
Children kept rubbing up against things and it was coming off all the time.
There were no nasty smells from any of the bottles though and the children were happy enough.
I would only recommend this if you don't mind the purple, stickiness of it and for value for money did what it was supposed to do. Don't think I would buy it myself.

"very pleased "
we have not had the right weather to try this but for a few hot sunny days at the weekend we were able to test this product. we thought the product was fantastic My children especially like the purple colour of the cream. The spray bottle is so easy to use.
it is not to thick like other sun lotions so its easy to apply.it seemed to stay applied for a few hours aswell so they played outside without having to apply it every 5 minuets
I will definitely be buying this in the future.

"5star products at value for money"
I have recently been using the wilkos sun range.
We have the suntan lotion spf 25 for adults. This is a fab product, non greasy, smelt nice and was a fairly thick lotion rather than watery types. The level of protection was fantastic as my husband and i never burnt and i am very fair skin type. The only downside was this was a pump sray and it did seem to go everywhere when you tried to spary it, however the lotion was fantastic so this is just a miner downside.
We have also tried the kids spf 50 in a lotion and a trigger gun spray both had a purple tint to them, this was great as it made it easier for myself to see where it was being applied to my 9month old. Again the level of protection was brilliant. i did apply it a couple of times in the few hours we were out in the sun but yet again no signs of catching the sun. Downside to the spray gun was it seemed to squirt everywhere this was not so good when it was the colour purple as it did get my friends white top, however i have been assured it did wash out.
Packaging is basic but value for money is hands down one of the best lotions ive used especially when you can pay upto £8 for a named product thats only pocket size.I would definately buy this product again.I would have loved to of tested the aftersun but i imagine this is just as good as the lotions.
Well done wilkos on a fabulous range - 5 stars all the way.

"good budget buy suncare"
I have tried out the wilko suncare range and to be honest i was impressed. Attractive but basic bottles with handy trigger spray.
the cream/lotion did protect very well from the sun even on very pale sensitive skin. The colour {purple} was fun and attractive to the kids which made it easier to get them to stand still long enough to get full coverage. The adult and children range both spread well and absorbed quickly. The consistency on the lotion was good, defo not watery. I thought the waterproof was good but i do tend to top up every 3/4 hrs anyway. no long lasting sickening smells which was a big plus for us. All in all a fantastic budget suncare range which i certainly would buy again.
The only down side was the trigger spray on the kids lotion has no protective cover so i found random squirts had dyed my bag purple and suncream is not easiest thing to get off. Also my 3yr old found it quite amusing to use the triggered bottle as a toy gun and we had a little suncream on the bedding in the room. could certainly benefit from having one added for health and safety reasons if nothing else.
