He laughs and chuckles to himself when it lights up and he hears the music he's six months and he will enjoy it even more as he gets older. My 8 month old daughter screamed with delight when she was given this! She still loves it now and when the eyes light up she laughs! She loves the music too. Best thing is my 2 year old son loves showing it to her and pressing the right buttons she asks for. 1 of the best on the market! It is lovely and colourful-as is always with vtech, and is lightweight enough for my 6 month old to pick up and investigate easily. he loves it when its cheeks light up! This toy is great for teaching shapes, colours and weather.Each of the coloured shapes can be magnetically attached to the suns face, when this happens it says peek-a-boo, which my eldest, 23 months loves! It is also a good size to be able to take out and about with you, either on a car journey or to a friends or relatives house. I think this toy would appeal to all, and it certainly does make learning fun!
