"great item"
i found this product so easy to use and also use it at my nursery and the children there understand sharing better as they think its great to use on apples and pears as they get the same amount but dont understand why i wont use it on oranges lol.
its so easy to clean and its great that it comes with a safety cover for storage as its very sharp.
overall i think its a neat gadget but a bit over priced for what it is.

"What a fantastic product!"
What a fantastic little product!
Having been a daily apple eater for years this is exactly what I've been waiting for (& should have bought years ago!). I now have 2 children, a toddler & a newborn & my toddler is already following in my footsteps of an apple a day so this is perfect for quick & easing coring & slicing.
It's really easy to use - you simply position the wedger on top of the apple & push down. You need to be careful when taking the sliced apple off once it's been cut through but it's not difficult to do.
I tend to keep my apples in the fridge before use & the only thing I've noticed on a very slight negative is that sometimes it is quite hard to push through a really crisp apple that has been chilled but you just need to put a little more effort in & it works just fine!
Well worth the money & I will never be without one now!

"Easy to Use"
What a great item. We had a cheap plastic version of an apple wedger that my husband broke so I was delighted when I found out I would be able to review this one. It is solid stainless steel and looks good. It has a cover which fits over the blades, which protects it whilst being stored.
It effortlessly cuts an apple into 10 even shaped pieces leaving a neat core to be thrown away, you just line it up on the apple and push down on the wedger (a juicy apple may spray slightly) It is a very sharp item and care should be taken separating the wedges from the wedger, which is easy. This also works great on cooking apples for pies etc and helps eliminate waste.
My toddler loves it, he has neat tidy apple pieces in his bowl to eat now!! It is also dishwasher safe so we are both very happy. It is fairly expensive, but having bought a plastic one that broke I would say this is worth the money because it is so solid.

"Nice little gadget"
When i first used this wedger i thought it was great! It cuts apples nice and evenly without any hassle. Usually when i make apple pies i have trouble slicing my apples the same width but this makes it easy!! :-)
This apple wedger is a nice little gadget i'm not sure it's worth £10.50 tho.

"Good gadget"
The courier literally dropped off my product to review about 5 minutes ago!! I was just about to cut an apple up for my two toddlers (aged 3 and 22 months) so it arrived at the perfect time!!!
I washed it - unfortunately for me, before I had read the wee leaflet that came with it, and I cut my finger on the underside of the blades!!!
I put it over the apple, pressed down and voila!! A perfect little apple flower was created before my eyes. :) My two children ooh'd and aah'd at it before I was allowed to pull the apple wedges off the product.
They are now sitting happily munching on their apple wedges - happy in the knowledge that one didn't get more apple than the other cos they could both see me sharing the wedges equally into their two bowls!!!
Overall, a good product - so long as you read the 'sharp blades warning' before you slice yourself on it!!! Not sure if I would pay £10.50 for it as these days we're all buying necessities more than luxuries, but yes, I'd recommend it, and I'll definitely be making it one of my 'everyday' utensils.
