"pleasantly suprised!"

On the whole, i don't really use wipes but was pleased with these ones.

They were thick and moist so were good for nappy changes especially when out and about when there is not always a tap to hand.

There wasn't much of a smell which I liked and the lid on the packet helped keep the wipes from drying out.

The only downside was it was difficult to get the wipes out of the packet as the next one was not pulled up as one was removed from the packet.

"Great Wipes"

Brilliant value wipes. Nice and thick and I like the "foamy" wetness to them, it feels like you are washing your baby not just wiping them. Nice sturdy packaging, especially good when wrestling with a wriggling baby and trying to wipe up with one hand!
Would definitely use them again.

"Loved them!"

These wipes are lovely and quilted, I usually use two wipes at a time for a pooy nappy but because these are thick I only used one at a time.

They are very wet and I discovered if I squeezed the wipe over the bum the foaminess came out and it was like having a mini bath! They cleaned up the stickiest of nappies no problem and with much less wipes than any other brand I have tried.

They are too wet and foamy for face wiping I found (unless my daughter had eaten porridge!)

I now always have a pack for the dirty nappies! I recommend them to everyone, I wish I had found them before my son was born they would have made short work of the tarry poos!!!

Good price too!

"Really impressed! "

Have always been a Pampers mum but have changed to these!I was sent a pack of the Tesco's newborn baby wipes and I was quite reluctant to use them on my new baby aged 6 weeks old, as i have always used pampers sensitive....I was really impressed, they were wet and foamy.
They removed Frankie's baby poo with ease & they weren't too wet that i have to dry his bum off after.
A great buy, good price and i'm converted! xx

"So impressive"

I was so impressed with these wipes, they were very moist, from the first to the last wipe, unlike some others which can be dry at the top and wet when we get to the bottom.
The wipes were a really good size, I was able to clean even a major 'pooplosion' with only one wipe, so they lasted a long time. I was able to halve the wipes for wet nappies, and use one whole one for dirty nappies which meant the pack lasted a long time.
I would definately buy these wipes again :)

"Wet/Dry/Foamy Wipes"

Tesco Newborn wet wipes are very similar in feel and design to Asda Little Angels and Johnsons Baby wipes, they are quite thin sheets that are easily pulled out of shape and are fragrance free making them better for sensitive skin then fragranced versions, they are soft and have a waffle like pattern to them.

I found the wipes quite thin and I needed quite a handful to successfully clean up my newborn sons poopy nappies, they were good for a simple wipe over of a wet nappy, milky face or the sticky fingers of my older children though and the sensitive nature of them was good for my eldest son who suffers excema and cannot use fragranced products, these didn't effect his skin badly at all.

I found the distribution of the "wet" quite uneven, often the top wipes would be quite dry and as you got to the end of the pack the remaining wipes were too wet, as if the wetness had sunk to the bottom of the pack and occasionally the wipe would create a foamy layer as it was wiped over the skin. I was also not keen on the fact that when you pulled out 1 wipe it brought out a lot more with it, not just the next wipe but often a wad of wipes which was then difficult to seperate one handed mid nappy change.

While the wipes are good for simple tasks I didn't feel like they were really up to heavier jobs, they are quite thin and it takes several wipes to do the job that 1 or 2 thicker Huggies or Pampers wipes would do.

They are quite good value for money for use on older children but personally I prefer to spend a little more for a better quality pack for use on my babies delicate skin.

"Good for the early days"

I thought these were a good idea for the first few weeks of your baby's life, when you don't want their skin to react to anything. They were the moist without being wet, and cleaned up well. I liked the packaging with the resealable front. Not sure I would carry on buying, but good idea for your hospital bag definitely!

"wet wet wet"

I received these when my baby girl was 5 months old. I personally, felt that these wipes were very wet and seemed to get wetter the further into the back I got! That said, they were very gentle and cleaned as well as a leading brand. I liked the packaging especially the closable lid. I would definitely recommend these to my friends with newborns and may use these as an alternative to my usual brand.

"ok"

I found the wipes Ok, The quality of the wipe was good nice and thick they didn't have a horrible strong smell to them the only thing that puts me off buying them is they are too wet! Its like a foam, i usually buy wipes that i can use for all the family as my 3 year old always has mucky hands and face, i gave her 1 to use as its all i had in my bag and within 2 seconds of wiping her hands she was covered in the foam stuff!

"Pleasantly suprised"

These wipes are quite different from any I've used before and I wasn't sure about them at first, but they're actually quite good. They're thick and papery and are great for cleaning up really liquid newborn poos, and are wet enough to clean properly without being too soggy. My son's little bottom didn't react to them at all and I'd happily buy them again, especially as they're reasonably priced. The one thing I have against them is they tend to not pull up the next wipe one you take one out of the pack, which is a pain when you get caught having to them out of the pack one handed.

"Excellent value for money"

Usually I try to avoid store brand items, so would not usually have selected these.
Having tried them, it did change my opinion.

I have not tried anything like this. Usually wipes are sticky or dry and you have to use a few to get the job done, then followed by one to dry off.

The Tesco wipes have an unusual texture. They are thick and at first soapy, then it goes wet and then dry leaving you feeling dry.

Excellent value for money and I would purchase these again.
Although these are for use on newborns - i would buy these to carry in my bag for the older kids and also have some in the car.

Would buy again.
Does the job and more.

"Fantastic Product"

I have used the whole packet of these wipes and am going to go and buy lots more!! Most cheaper wet wipes you find that the top wipes are almost dry and the bottom ones are too wet, not with these!! All wipes are equally moist and actually lather up slightly and clean faces, hands and bums perfectly. They are so good I managed to clean a baby poo up with only 2 wipes. My 3 year old has bad excema and we struggle to find wipes that are ok for her to use and not flare her skin up and tend to use a flannel and water for her mostly, but these wipes did not irritate her skin at all....hence going to buy more :) I would certainly recommend these wipes to everyone!!

Fantastic product, gentle on my newborns skin, not highly scented which is a plus.

Would recommend to friends to use, great value for money too

"not for us. "

These wipes werent for us. I found the foaming wetness of wipes off putting as our normal sensitive branded wipes dont do this. I didnt like the fact that there was residue left on my babys skin.

Both my partner and I found it hard to get one wipe out only so we ended up using more than was necessary. The wipes however were nice to use due to the thickness. They were very gentle too and didnt irritate my daughters skin.

Packaging was appealing and I did like the flip lid. This means the wipes dont dry out and is an added bonus those who only use wipes occassionally. Also good to keep in the car for emergencies.

The price of the item is average. I buy my branded wipes in bulk so they are priced similarly.

"Work well"

At first I thought these were a little too wet and 'foamy'. Although there's no fragrance (a good thing) I wondered if they were full of nasties because of the foam. Actually though they're very gentle, and the wetness evaporates really quickly leaving my baby's bum dry before I put her nappy back on. I don't usually use wipes as I have a bottle of spray and reusables but I do keep some in my change bag and these are perfect. Brand wipes are so expensive, and these are cheap, work well and have the resealable top. I've used the Tesco Value ones before, but these really are a lot better. As I buy them so infrequently I normally go for whatever wipes are on offer, but I'd definitely get these again.

"Great wipes! Exceeded expectations!"

When I opened these wipes I thought they would be awful as they looked too wet and soapy. I thought they would be too harsh to use on my 4 month old and would leave the skin too wet... BUT... I WAS WRONG!

I loved them! They clean bottoms, hands and faces brilliantly. They are so soft and just the right amount of soap/wetness! There was absolutely no sticky or slimey residue.
I've used a lot of wipes over the last 6 years and 4 kids, these are probably my favourite!
I've found my new wipes!

"Surprisingly good"

Starting with the packaging, the opening flap makes opening and closing the wipes much easier and keeps the moisture in really well. Wouldn't expect this kind of feature for this money in an own brand product - so that's really good.

The wipes are slightly thinner than the brands I have used before, but it is not causing any problems. The elongated rectangular shape takes a moment to get used to compared to the square-ish wipes I have used before.

The wipes are very moist - making cleaning easy, and we had no problems with rashes - which we have experience with one other brand of wipes before.

Overall not at all bad, good value for money, great on the go thanks to the opening and closing. Will certainly buy again.

"Excellent value "

You must try these wipes!!

These wipes come with a flip lid which helps avoid the top wipe from drying out. The number in the packet is the same as some other brands but the price is CHEAPER!

The wipes themselves are a good thickness and come out the packet really easily, so much so that I could hold my little ones hands out of the way and use my other hand to pull out the wipe! This makes a nice change from one brand in particular where they are too thick and you need two hands to get the wipe out. Additionally the wipes on the whole came out the packet one at a time rather than a pile.

The wipes are a good size and I found I used less wipes to clear up a dirty nappy compared to some brands which sped up nappy changing which for wee ones means getting back to playing quicker!

I did however notice the odd wipe felt really soapy but they did leave the bottom very clean.

Overall these wipes are value for money and I will be telling my friends about them!

"Pleasantly suprised"

I am usually a sucker for brand name products so was quite skeptical about trying these wipes but i can safely say they are fantastic.
Currently they are only £1 at Tescos ( full price only £1,36 ), great price !
I love the plastic lid, saves that first few wipes being near dry upon pulling them out and when pulling them out they come out in one piece unlike another wipe i use regularly , they are very strong !
These wipes make cleaning an easy task they are really moist some i have found maybe a little too soapy like but overall i cannot complain.
I can see why they won product of the year and i will continue to use these when the next addition to my family comes along i feel very confident in using them on a newborn.
Have used these on my face last thing at night , does wonders at removing make-up.

Cannot recommend these wipes enough.

"Great Value for money"

These were fantastic and so easy to use because they were nice and wet they were able to get all the poop from all those nooks and crannies which are difficult to reach (especially with a baby boy lol).

They are great value for money and with the plastic resealable lid are handy when out and about and keeping the wipes from drying out too!

I would definatley recomed these for all mums essential kit list :)

"Amazing value for money especially in the messiest of situations!"

These wipes are great! They cleaned up my little girl amazingly! Easy to use in sicky situations, wet nappies and they are even great with those messy poopy moments :). A lot of wipes are too damp, difficult to get out of the packaging or tear easily. They are great value for money and the packaging is so convenient to use with the clip lid. I've used them all day and plan to use them in future and I would definitely recommend them to other mums/mums to be who are stuck for which wipes to use!

"Good quality buy"

When your first impression of a product is hearing your husband shout down the stairs 'Hey! These new wipes are great!', after normally having to hear him complain about expensive non own shop brands (NOSB), you know you're on to a winner!

These wipes were lovely and moist, the texture is brilliant too, makes the task of wiping up lots of horrible poo a much easier job!

At the moment these wipes are beign sold in Tesco's for £1 (normally £1.36), which I think is a bargain especially considering the NOSB are normally over £2 for the same amount of wipes.

I find with some other brands that the wipes pull apart very easily or that lots of wipes come out at once. Not great when you're doing something that needs as little fuss as possible. The Tesco wipes are strong and come out in a conveniant way which is great when, realistically, you only have one hand free! I love the plastic flip up lid as I find it's another thing that makes these wipes easier to use.

I can't find any fault with this product. If one wanted wipes for even cheaper Tesco also do a value range (though haven't tried these personally), so basically there is something for every budget but I don't think that is neceesary when these wipes are so brilliant.
