"Fab Tangle Teezer" This arrived for me and Courtney to use, although I haven't really had a look in because Courtney has claimed it.
Courtney has got gorgeous spiraly curls and I have always struggled combing it. I have to bath her in the mornings because of how her hair looks first thing. We shampoo and condition her hair but still find it very luggy when combing it. Its such a shame for her because as much as I try not to hurt her she moans that I am.
The first time Courtney used it was when I opened the post. She actually said to me;
"Look mommy, its pretty pink and took to it straight away"
She started using it and I couldn't believe there wasn't one moan. Normally I dont comb her hair when it is dry because it will just go all frizzy. I just let her get on with it and she loved it, although her spirals were dissapearing under a head of frizz, lol. I used it the next morning when she had come out of the bath and I have not gone back to her own comb since. It just glides through her hair without pulling or tugging. Basically its fantastic and I would definately recommend it to anyone. The Tangle Teezer is a fabulous invention :)and the new pink is an added bonus :) Member review by Kerry -

"Jazzy Pink Tangle Teezer - Great!!" DD1 Helena has the curliest hair I've ever seen and that's no exageration. Both her Dad and I have very ordinary straight hair but her spirals, twists and twirls are amazing. Her hair is absolutely gorgeous (well I'm her Mum what else do you expect me to say??) although she would say she can't do anything with it. But when you've got hair which looks great when you just 'leave it' why worry if there's nothing else you can do with it??
Now, basically, she washes her hair (going heavy on the conditioner) then combs it and leaves it to dry - never brushing it again. The Tangle Teezer goes straight through her tangled mop - no problem. She tried it when her hair was dry too and it went through easily enough. As I said though, generally she doesn't brush it when it's dry as it has a tendancy to go 'frizzy'!!
Her sister Maddie has an incredibly sensitive scalp although her hair is much silkier and smoother to comb. Even she agreed that the Tangle Teezer was great for her hair and more importantly didn't hurt!
I just wish I'd had one when my mob were little as the yelps and screams when I used to brush Maddie's hair in particular, might have been avoided.
I'd say that the Tangle Teezer is a great investment if your hair is the knotty sort or if your little ones run at the sight of a brush or comb.
