"Snug s a bug!"
I received the SnooziHedz Travel Pillow and Blanket to review. I thought my 2 year old would like it best because I thought my 4 year old would be too old for it, but we had a fight as soon as they both saw it, so now it is being shared! lol.
First impressions were how lovely & bright the colours were. Also there isn't too much packaging so no big box to get rid of! On opening it I noticed how soft the fleece material was. It's really snuggly, so perfect for the intended use. The pillow part is just a plastic blow up shape which fits inside the fleece pillow case, so that's easy enough to sort out & then deflate to pack away flat. The blow up plastic pillow also has air holes through the middle of it, so that your child's head doesn't overheat & get sweaty.
Zac has used this in his buggy & also his car seat. He loves snuggling up in it & also putting cars etc in the pocket (typical boy!). The way the fleece can attach to the pillow part is fab, because if the child gets too hot whilst asleep, it's easy to remove without waking them.
As I have already said, it's easy to fold up (after deflating the inner pillow) & also the inner pillow is removable so you can wash the pillow case & blanket part easily.
I would definitely recommend this for any lengthy travel situations. It would be perfect for use on a plane journey where the air con can make it a bit chilly. Also for trains, cars, pushchairs - anything where a child might fall asleep!

Love this product!! (as do my two little ones!)
Upon receiving it I was a little sceptical at first as to whether it would really get used for it's intended purpose but I was proved wrong. We have now taken "snuggles", as it has been nicknamed by my 3 year old in the car with us on around a dozen long trips & it has never failed to send my daughter to sleep. It has also become somewhat of a comfort blanket which she snuggles up to when awake.
It is very aesthetically pleasing with lovely bright colours which would appeal to any child. The fleece is soft & the pillow a perfect size. The pillow itself is a small inflatable which slips inside a fleecy case. The blanket is also made of fleece & very soft to touch. Ideal for wrapping around a little one to keep them snug whilst in their car seat!
I now have a battle on my hands for ownership of the pillow & blanket as my 1 year old has suddenly taken a liking to it! I sense that Father Christmas may be bringing a second one to our household this year!
