"Fabuulous fuss-free recipes"
This recipe is fabulous for busy Mums as all of the recipes contained within are one pot meals, which means less hassle and less washing up (which gets a mega thumbs-up from me, and the other half!).
The book is simple, there are no pictures but that means twice as many recipes (plus I always tend to feel a bit inferior when my dishes don't turn out like Delia's!)but the recipes are easy to follow and straight forward.
I have made 3 of the recipes in the book, my personal favourite being the Carbonara (naughty but nice!).
My Mum has even asked if I will buy her a copy for her birthday!!
Definately a thumbs up from our family.

"Recipes That Anyone Can Follow!"
Slow Cook Fast Food is packed full of easy-peasy recipes that anyone can follow. And not only that but most of the recipes use ingredients that we can find easily in any supermarket. It's a right pain when a recipe asks you to find a shed-load of obscure ingredients before you knuckle down to putting together their very complicated dish!
I'm no Delia when it comes to cooking so the easier the better for me as far as recipes are concerned. I love the idea of just chucking a load of ingredients in a pot and leaving them to 'stew' for a few hours and this book is full of recipes like that. The Chorizo and Home Made Baked Beans has become a favourite as has the Raspberry Bread and Butter Pudding. Yummy!! We're having the Slow Cooked Sweet & Sour Pork tonight and I can't believe how easy it is to do.
Ok it might be BBQ weather now but it won't last long and when it comes to the Autumn and Winter this recipe book will really come into its own.
I can't recommend this book enough - it's a 'must' for every kitchen.
