"Cool bibs - handy but pricey!"

Very nice bibs - we always get compliments when my LO wears them. Bit tight around the neck (even though he is quite small), but does the job and feels very good quality. Price is very off-putting, but you can shop around for the cheapest deal. Looks lovely on if you do need the LO to wear a bib for an extended period.

"funky pattern, but useless"

I thought the funky bib was a fantastic idea, but it was to tight round my son's neck (and he's not chubby).and it didnt absorb dribble very well. I was very disappointed. Ten pounds is a lot of money for one bib! On the plus side i thought the rainbow pattern was great.

"great to look at but worth it?"

Looks great, I got the rainbow one for my newborn who is now 2 months old. Looks very funky and chic. The down side is that it can be a little fiddly to put on a squirming baby as opposed to velcro but practice helps. Also it's a little small already so not meant for weaning but good for dribble and possetting ( small quanitities). On practical side easy to wash and dry. Biggest negative is price, I don't think I would spend this much on more than one although some of the designs look really good.

"Skibz Funky Bibs"

Having just tested out the rather stylish Skibz dribble bib that I was sent, I have to say that overall I was very impressed.

We had the multi coloured stripey bib which seemed to go with pretty much any outfit my little girl has, and was definately eyecatching - everyone at baby group noticed it and wanted to know more.

The product was very easy to put on, and seemed to stay put very well on my 12 month old daughter. It certainly did its job dribble wise - my daughter has been teething again and it certainly seemed to soak everything up without letting it go through to the clothes. I was worried that maybe it wouldn't stand up to the test of several washes, but was pleasantly surprised as it washed up very well, and didn't even seem to loose any colour. It kept its shape very well and none of the stitching pulled.

The only thing that I would fault it on is it's price - it is a little expensive at £9.99 - you would definately want more than one of these and that could start to get expensive.

Overall, my daughter seemed to like it as she didn't even once try to take it off - which is unusual for her. I would definately recommend these to anyone - even if their child doesn't dribble that much.

"Great product but expensive"

I think that skibz are a fantastic idea and they work really well. We received the multi-coloured stripey one and it looks good with most of my little fella's clothes, he has always dribbled a lot and this did it's job brilliantly. It was very good quality and easy to use my 14 month old could not easily remove it as he can with all other bibs. The only drawback would be the price I would require more than one and at £9.99 I think it's on the expensive side.

"Great Design "

Ive been using the skibz for nearly 3 weeks now and I think they are great. We got the striped multi-coloured one and it definatley does its job. Lewis is teething at the minute so the is dribbling loads and this bib is ideal for him, preventing him from getting soaked through.

The design is very attractive and they are lots of designs to choose from. They would make a great present for a new baby because there unique. All of the designs are very eye catching and they are even designs that are unisex.

One of the only downside to the skibz that I found, is that they have limited space for fastening around the neck and sometimes it seemed to look as if it was too tight around Lewis's neck so it had to be taken off.
I think the skibz are good value for money, I would definatley consider buying another one. Although they are priced at £9.99, they are a very fun unique way for preventing baby getting soaked from dribble!

"Funky Baby Bibs"

I am really impressed with the look of the Skibz and the variety that you can choose from. I have enjoyed testing this product and must admit that I also used one for my oldest child when she was a baby and feel in love with them then. They look far better than putting a normal bib round them whilst they are teething, they look really trendy.

The only downside is it did seem to creep up round my daughters neck and look uncomfortable sometimes when she had been moving a lot.

I think they are fantastic but they are slightly pricey, ideally it would be nice to have a few of these so you have spare but at the price they are you can't realistically do this which is a shame.

"Funky design but is it worth it??"

I have had my skibz bib now for 2 weeks and have to admit I love it. The colours, design and quality are outstanding. My daughter does look really cool in it (it seems to go with all her outfits) and everyone who sees it does comment.

My daughter has always been a dribbler and 3 months ago this bib would hav been a god send. Maya would always manage to pull off the normal bibs(Velcro) or would cry until we removed them so I did about 4 outfit changes a day. We have tried the skibz for two weeks and not once has she pulled it off nor does it seem to bother her. As a practical product aimed for stopping drool it does really work.

I love the fastening as it is so easy and cannot be opened! Why don't all bibs have buttons??

Downfalls

Price: at £9.99 a bib this is really expensive and on average you would three or four to last you until a wash, not many people would be able to justify £40 on 4 bibs. The flipside to this is that it would make a great present for new babies.

Purpose: my daughter is on solid foods so need a huge feeding bib when it's meal times. Admitedly the skibz is not designed for feeding but it's just something to be
aware of.

Overall great product. Funky, cool and well thought out. If you can afford then great as one would never be enough... However, if you do have a very dribbly baby this may be a solution that works for you and enhanes any outfit. In addition this would make a unique present for that new arrival.

"A rather expensive solution to dribble!"

My first impression of this product was that it looks great & seems really good quality - i love the funky rainbow coloured Skibz i was sent which was unisex & looks great with any colour clothes. As a mum of a teething 7 month old I was eager to see if it does what it claims & soaks up the endless dribble & i have to say, it does hold quite a lot of dribble & definately more than a normal bib, although it doesn't last all day, but what bib does? It washes well & doesn't fade, but I did have to iron it after tumble drying which is a bad point for me as i hate ironing & can avoid ironing most normal bibs!

The Skibz does have two popper fastenings to allow it to be worn by children of different ages, although it doesn't fit my just 3 year old daughter who insisted on trying it on and i had to use it on the loosest fastening on my 7 month old, who at 20lbs isn't particularly big for her age & it did seem a snug fit.

I found that when my daughter wore the Skibz with her coat it seemed scrunched up around her neck & looked as if it was a bit uncomfortable - almost as if it was too small for her. Also, wheras it's great in the cold weather, you couldn't really use this product in warmer weather as because it's quite thick it would make your baby rather hot & sticky.

Overall, it's a good product, but i think that at £9.99 it's too expensive, especially as you'd need to purchase more than one in order to always have a clean one available and for this price you could purchase several normal bibs. I personally think that i'll stick to bibs - they do the same job & are much cheaper - you just need to change them more frequently.

"Quirky fashion item"

The design of the skibz bib is excellent and they look great on the right aged child. I found it was very useful as an all day bib for dribbling, not so practical for meal times. The amount of water it retains is not enough to last the day therefore parents would need more than one of these unless they rotated with normal bibs. With this in mind the price I believe is too high. This would be better sold in multiples, ie, 3 for £18.95 as if it was priced above £19.99 I couldn't imagine many parents justifying paying for what essentially is a bib. The product is more likely to be an impulse buy rather than something specifically sort after and with that in mind parents would not be willing to spend that much money. Correct pricing to me is the most important consideration.

"Funky Bibs"

I tried the Skibz bibs on my 13 week old and 2 year old. At first I was not convinced that I would like the bib at all as I found that putting it on my 13 week old it just seemed to ride up and looked like it was strangling her. She doesn't hold her head up well and I think that this is an important factor when using these bibs. I then tried it with my 2 year old and found that it did a fantastic job. She has been dribbling for a while getting some of her bigger teeth. I haven't wanted to have to put a bib on her all of the time as she is too old for this. Using the Skibz bib I found that she looked really funky and she was comfortable wearing it. I agree with a lot of the other reviews though and found that although it kept her dry for longer than the other bibs I have used in the past, I would still need to use a few in the day. For me this would not be cost effective as this would mean buying more than one and at £9.99 they are well over my budget. Having two children is expensive and I look to save money as much as possible. I would be more likely to buy them as a novelty for an occasion or as a present. I have found that the skibz bibs wash well so I can attempt to rotate the one that I have, although they do not tumble dry which again shows that more than one would be required if your child needed to wear them frequently.

"funky and pratical!"

I was so pleased to receive a skibz bib to review as my little girl is teething and there is baby dribble everywhere! Here’s what we think! x

EASE OF USE: The skibz bib does at the back with a popper of which there are two, so this bib can be used for small babies and older toddlers. This makes the product one of which that will last throughout baby and toddlerhood!

VALUE FOR MONEY: The RRP is £9.99 which I feel is rather expensive for one bib, as you would want more than one for washing and drying. Having said that it is a luxury top end of the market product, and the quality of the finish shows this. I have seen other bandana style bibs elsewhere and you could get several for the price of one skibz, but I am unsure if the quality would match up.

QUALITY: when looking at this product the quality really stands out, the stitching is flawless, and it looks expensive. It washes well and dries relatively fast. I was surprised by how much dribble it soaks up, and the moisture does not appear to wick through and wet the child’s clothing underneath. The shape of the bib eliminates dribble from running under neck folds, which helps prevent a rash from constant dribbling.

Overall I am really impressed by this bib, we got sent the rainbow one and it really makes all outfits look super cute and funky. We have had lots of people comment on how cool the bib looks, but when they find out how much it costs it seems not many people would buy one due to the high price, I have to agree. I would definitely recommend skibz for their quality but put them on your Christmas list and get someone else to buy them!

"Great new style bib"

The Skibz is a new style of bib that has something very different from the normal bib.
It can be used as a piece of clothing accessory rather than being obviously a bib.
There are plenty of choices in the range, so no outfit needs to look the same from one day to the next!
At a tenner a go, it is a bit steep but they do a good job of collecting the dribble.
Ideal for excessive dribblers or teething tots.

"Great design"

The skibz bib got lots of positive comments about how cool it looks when my son was wearing it. He looks so cute in it and I just wanted to take photo after photo of him wearing it. As all parents know bibs are not the best fashion feature when your little one is dribbling but skibz makes it fashionable and can compliment your childs outfit well. I was really surprised just how much dribble it held as my son would have usually gone through at least 2 normal style bibs on a good day during the time he was wearing the skibz. I liked how it had 2 studs on it for fastening to allow it to grow with childs and make it last longer. The standard retail price of £9.99 for 1 skibz I think may prove to be slightly pricey especially during the current credit crunch but I do feel you get a very good durable product for that price, so much so I'm already looking at getting another one for my son. The only bad point I have found so far is that I only have 1 until I get another 1 :-)

"Pleasantly surprised"

I'm not a fan of babies with bibs and hadn't previously found one necessary however my 7 month is VERY dribbly so I was finding myself putting bibs on him to save his clothes. I've used the Skibz for 2 days now and have to say I'm impressed. Although not a design I would normally choose (leopard print) and I thought it wouldn't really go with any of his clothes, it is really growing on me and my husband also thinks its pretty cool! Works very efficiently too and I was surprised at how much dribble it collected. I rinsed it out last night in the bath (?!) and it dried overnight on the radiator, however I do wonder at the efficiency of washing at 60 degrees. It does work out pricey as you would need quite a few but they are of a very high quality and are a conversation piece! Poppers on the back make it very easy to use too.

"skibz- the best product for dribbling "

I have to say i was plesantly surprised on how well this product worked for my son. He is currently dribbling like mad having breaking through all his back teeth which i was finding i was changing his clothes a few times a day. I couldnt believe how dry his clothes have been while using the Skibz. They are very stylish and i have to say makes them even cuter while wearing them. Would recommend to anyone :)

"funky looking bib"

I have mixed feelings about the Skibz bib. It looks lovely and I am pleased to finally have a bib that I wouldn't have to rush to remove for a photo. It looks boyish and grown up and the variety of styles availiable means there will always be one which compliments your baby's outfit. they wash well, dry very quickly, look fantastic and soak up an amazing amount of fluid which is very useful as we are currently intoducing our harrison to drinking from beakers. He has been merrily pouring juice, water and milk in the rough direction of his wee mouth whilst grinning very cutely, arms flying in excitement each time he succeeds in getting a drink. Each time I am amazed his clothes are dry under the skibz bib.
So what is the downside? I have 2 minor critisisms. one is the price which I think is a bit high to be practical for most parents. One bib isn't nearly enough even when they dry so quickly. I reckon 4 would be a basic practical requirment but at £40 I don't think I would bother. Perhaps they could be marketed as the essential new baby present and us new mums might find we are lucky enough to have a few bought for us by doting relatives?
My other critisism is that I found the stud fastening a wee bit fiddly and as the bib sits quite high on harrison's neck it tends to get in the way at feeding time. Harrison is only 15 weeks and isn't holding himself up terribly effectively yet, tending to slump forward as he tires so quite possibly this will become less of a problem in a few weeks.
None the less I love my bib, it is great for teething dribbles and juice showers and has earned my tiny cutie a lot of compliments. Now how can I subtly suggest to my nearest and dearest that to find some skibz under the tree would be just great this christmas?

"a bit pricey........"

Well let's start off by saying these skibz funky bibs certainly live up to thier name! my daughter has been named the most stylish baby at our mother and babies group after wearing this, all the other mums are desperate to get one now! it is a fabulous item and it does exactly what it is meant to do "catch those dribbles!" and the colours are really eyecatching and still are after a wash! I love this item and so does my daughter it's the only bib that stays on properly with the popper buttons at the back which grow with your baby! the only downside to it though, it is a bit pricey at £9.99 per bib and i personnaly would need about 4-5 of these and splashing out £40-£50 is alot of money for any family especially for bibs. if the price was brought down this would be flying off the shelves!!!!!

"Really Funky and Functional"

I like the look of the Skibz Bib, but not only that it also works really well and in fact it soked up the dribble amazingly well!

I took my baby out in her cute little denims and the Skibz Funky Bib looked great with it. I bumped into a friend and she said "Ooh that looks really funky!"

It is well made and good quality and I'd recommend it, not only for fashion, but as a great functional bib as well.

"Funky, Brilliant"

I have recieved the Skibz bib to review which i recieved today, They are Great, my son dribbles alot! and it's not always practical to keep putting bibs over his clothes throughout the day. This is a fashionable and great way of keeping clothes dry while fitting in with babies day to day outfits. I would reccomend this product to anyone who has the same problem with dribble and changing babies top all the time! There are so many different styles to choose from too. My only con is the price £9.99 for one bib can be a bit pricey as you would need a few, but it is one of those things you will use time and time again. A good buy :-)
