"Excellent"

Good book easy to understand straight to the point. Passed it on for my brother in law to read as he like photography and he said it was a really good book with excellent information.

"Something for everyone"

This is a lovely colourful book with loads of pictures for inspiration. The text is large and clear - but don't expect a novel, it sticks to the point with stylish paragraphs rather than pages full of text. It does really well at trying to simplify camera settings, catering mainly to people with digital cameras, even the "point and shoot" type simple digital camera - it made sense to my mum, and if she can understand it then they are doing something right!

Its definitely a book I will be flicking through from time to time, as I feel like every time I look at it I learn something new or come up with something else to try - although I do think the rrp of £12.99 is a little overpriced.

"Simple but to the point"

I dont go far without my camera as memories can never been replaced, but even though its my love i would never spend hours reading up on how to get a perfect picture, after all whats the point with 3 very active children? This book however is brilliant and i would highly recommend it! The infomation is simple and easy to follow and it gives you clear examples of what difference a point (usually just changing a setting or where you stand)can make. I cant honestly say if my pictures have improved, but it does make me stop and think before shooting! We have even had some laughs taking photos. This book is desgined to work with children so it is great for a gift to any parent or grandparent.I would deffantly buy this book as the book qulity is great, the reading part is simple and fun points and as i said previously the examples are brilliant.

"Great tips for beginners"

This book is great for parents/grandparents who want some basic knowledge of how to take better pictures of babies/children. It is definitely aimed at those wanting to know basic techniques such as focusing, flash use and lighting. The book is full of great pictures.

I wouldn't recommend this book to someone who already has more than basic knowledge of photography but I think it would make a good present for a new parent/grandparent and I would recommend it to anyone looking for basic hints and tips for taking better pictures of babies/children.

"My new favourite book"

I have always loved taking photos and for a while I have wanted to buy an SLR camera and getting this book spured me on to get one. I didn't go for a top of the range one but with the help of this book I have managed to take some brilliant pictures. Friends have asked me 'where did you get those done'.
The book gives great tips for amateur photographers like myself and the tips are very easy to follow. It also has some lovely pictures which have given me ideas for photos of my own baby.
Some of the tips are also applicable to photographing other things and it has definitely improved my skills.
It is an easy to follow book that is perfect to get some great photos of your baby to cherish these special moments forever. I would recommend this book to all my friends with babies so they can too learn to capture great photos.
