"Lovely Story"
This was a lovely story. Although Kayleigh is too young to read this on her own, she loved the book. The pictures throughout the book were fantastic and I used these pictures to help Kayleigh understand the story.

She now brings the book to me and says "up" to get on my knee so that I read it to her.

"Beautiful Book"
We were very happy to be able to review this lovely book. Keane insisted on reading it straight away!

The illustrations in the book are absolutely beautiful, really nice and colourful!

The story is so sweet and my little boy got very into the story and even felt sad and gave me a nice cuddle when the ducklings wanted to get back to their mummy! He said 'aww they're crying for their mummy' with a great big hug, very sweet!

So all in all this book is much loved here and i would reccomend it to my friends!

"simple and adorable!"
this is a lovely, interactive book and my little boy loves it! this is his evening read before bed - he insists that we do 'quack quack book now, mummy' lol

he loves the antics of these little ducklings, especially when they hide in the flowerpots and i get huge cuddles when they're back with mummy duck!

i love the quality of the pages as they seem stronger - more resilient to strong little hands - as, despite daily use, not one has yet been torn! a major accomplishment! i also love the illustrations - how you've manageged to get the ducklings looking so fluffy makes the book quite tactile without being a 'touchy' book...

thank you for the opportunity to review and thank you for giving Nathan his evening thrill! lol

"Fantastic"
All my kids loved this book, excellent quality and they just sit with it most of the day and my eldest 8 reads it to his brothers and sisters and the younger ones will sit and look at the picture.

Lovely hard back book.

"It's a good one!"
In the words of my two and half year old son -"it's a good one!" I'm a big fan of Walker Books already and this one didn't disappoint. My older children have had other books by Kim Lewis (The Last Train, Floss and First Snow.) and this is a fantastic introduction to her work for younger children. As with all her books the illustrations are fantastic and the story is simple enough for a young one to follow. I would agree that the book as priced is a little expensive (£10.99) but nowadays with online stores and supermarkets selling books I think it is very rare to pay the full price for any book. I would definitely recommend this book though it might be better value to wait for it in paperback.

"great book"
This is a great story with fantasic illustrations, which my three year old daughter and 2 year old son love being read, its quickly turned into one of their favourites at bedtime.
Its a good lenghth, not too long so they dont lose interest towards the end.
As the others said, it is quite expensive, but this is a hardback book and I would be happy to pay a little more for the quality.

"Lovely Book"
I was lucky enough to get to product test this book, and it's now become Joshua's favourite. When the book arrived my little man was ill but this beautiful book with its fantastic illustrations soon took his mind off his cold and captured his attention. Joshua has even brought this book to me now every night to read before bed and loves looking at the pictures and "quacking" when he sees Seymore and Henry. I think it's just the right story length to keep him interested.

"Lovely Illustrations"
This is a really nice book with lovely illustrations. The story flows well and is easy to read out loud to a child.

My son loves playing hide and seek so this book really appealed to him.

As it it a hardback it is quite expensive but this is true of all hardback books not just this one in particular.

"such a cute story"
We have been lucky enough to review this fantastic book on behalf of walker books.
Its all about two baby ducks called seymour and henry that decide to go on a little adventure without their mummy!!
they soon come waddling back when it starts to rain..bless

alice may loves this story and chats along to pit a pat plod plod!!
i think its beautifully illustrated and a very nice easy story for a child of 2+to join in with.
quite a large book and alice may did have difficulty in holding it but this didnt stop her.
She has even found an old chicky teddy to hold whilst she has her story.

well recommended!!
only downside is i thought it was a little on the expensive side.
