"time saver"
I used the tape dispenser to wrap all my gifts and was at first a bit sceptical. Im usually rubbish and very slow at wrapping and didnt see how this could help. I actually wrapped my gifts much quicker than usual and with less mess, no need for scissors or using teeth. It was very simple to use. I would definetely buy refills and use this again.

"Neat Product!"
This is a pretty neat product. It took me a few mins to figure it out. I find it much easier to use than regular tape plus your not tossing a large piece of plastic in the trash all the time so its a bit environmentally friendly. I say a bit because the re-fills still come in packaging.
I will recommend this for sure at Christmas time or for wrapping a lot of gifts. Its fast and easy.

"I found it tricky but hubby loved it"
I thought this was a fab idea especially with an abundance of christmas and birthday presents that needed to be wrapped. However for some reason I just didnt get one with it, I found I was pulling more than one piece out and it was awkward slightly annoyed I put it down. Graham then decided he would use it, well he was wrapping like a pro and super speedy so obviously it must have just been me. He loved it and would purchase it again, although we both thought you didnt get much tap considering the price.

"good idea"
The good thing about the tape dispenser it that your hands are free and your able to fold the paper e.c.t without having to let go to get more tape, although sometimes i would get more than one piece and it has to be pulled out at the correct angle or it wont work properly.
I found that the tape ran out very quicky as i only wrapped about six medium sized boxes before having to resort back to normal sellotape.
I will not be buying refils as it doesnt last long enough and it can be quite fiddly to use.

"Fab gadget"
Gadgets aren't usually 'my thing' I always see them as an expensive alternative for an easy life. So you won't find many gadgets in my house, but for this one I make an exception! As the title says, it's fab! I'm always the wrapper in our house, no-one else can do it (or maybe that's no-one else can be bothered to do it) and I'm the one that sits with pieces of tape stuck hanging from various surfaces for ease of use whilst wrapping. But there is always that point in the proceedings when you have that tricky present almost done, you have the paper folded just right and reach out for a piece of tape to find it's all gone! So you either stick your knee/foot/nose on the present to hold the paper in place (believe me I've done all 3) or let go and watch slowly as that perfectly folded paper unfolds itself while you hunt for the roll of tape that has vanished from the place you left it and tear/cut off some more pieces. This handy piece of equipment means there is no more losing of tape, no more running out of pieces, no need to have a variety of smooth surfaces around to hang tape from, it sits perfectly comfortably on your wrist/hand and doesn't get in the way of your wrapping expertise. A simple pull on the piece of tape at the top and you have the perfect sized piece in your hand ready to use, it pulls a small piece of the next strip out ready and waiting for you.
I wish I'd had this when wrapping 4 kids worth of Christmas presents, but that stupid white stuff we call snow prevented a lot of deliveries to Scotland. It did arrive just before Christmas but sadly I had wrapped everything, but with two birthdays in January I had a whole load more presents waiting for the carnage that is wrapping and guess what, with this handy little gadget the carnage didn't materialise! I had the paper, I had the presents, I had my gadget and I sat in the middle of the floor wrapping away happily without having to worry about being as close to smooth surfaces as possible! It is now stashed away ready for use in December.

"Very useful"
I loved the ease with which my wrapping can take place with this product. I was able to wrap my christmas presents very neatly and without getting myself into a muddle with the tape and scissors.
I did find that this was a little more cumbersome than a similar product that I have previously used and it runs out fairly quickly, especially if the children get hold of it for their craft work. It needs to be hidden, and only used for wrapping parcels!

"surprised"
I've seen these about for ages and always thought "yeah right they are a waste of money" oh how wrong could I of been it actually did do the job to the point where my partner didn't use it all up helping to wrap and he changed it easily.
Yes I couldn't get on with it being on my hand whilst wrapping but I had it beside me and used it that way and it saved the skin on my lips this xmas. It held the paper nicely in place and looked like it wasn't even there so gave all my gifts a nice finish.
Now would I buy the refills for it instead of normal tape? YES as it is much cleaner and you don't waste a large amount getting the tape rolled over on itself. So when it comes to bulk wrapping it will be on to get list.

"Love it "
This is fab before it arrived I was struggling doing my wrapping I had bits of sellotape stuck to all surfaces, was really doing my head in and took so long to do. And with having arthritis in my hands it was so fiddly having to cut all the bits of tape!!!
When the handband arrived I couldnt wait to try it out. The tape is so easy to load into the dispenser. And straight away I got to it...wrapping took less time and the size of the piece of tape that you get is ideal.
It made wrapping presents so easy for my arthritic hands.
Will def be using this from now on.

"Pleasantly Surprised!"
I can't say that I'd heard of the Scotch Tape Pop Up Handband dispenser before but I wish I had as it makes wrapping pressies so much easier! (particuarly when a toddler is helping you wrap!).
There is an elastic band which fits compfortably across your wrist (or knuckles) & to start all you do is slide open the dispenser, fix the tape pad into place, slide the dispenser shut & hey presto, you're ready to go! As you pull the first piece off, the next one will get pulled up automatically & be ready for use.
Best advantages of this product are that you have both hands free to do wrapping & you don't need to bite your way through the cellotape to cut it off when you can't find the scissors!
The tape pieces are a very handy pre-cut size. Sometimes I did miss not being able to use a long bit of tape but to be honest this wasn't an issue as I just used two small pieces instead & that did the trick.
I will definitely be investing in a pack of refills!

"Surprisingly useful!!"
I really thought this was going to be another pointless plastic gadget but was pleasantly surprised that it was actually really useful.
The handband dispenser is comfortable to wear on your wrist and leaves both hands free for wrapping. The tape pulls out, one piece at a time from the dispenser and made wrapping presents much easier and quicker.
My 2 year old really liked wearing the dispenser on her wrist and passing me pieces of sellotape. This worked so much easier than precutting pieces from a roll and then sticking them to the edge of a table where my daughter can't find them, has trouble pulling them off and then gets them all folded so they won't stick.
The downside is that 75 pieces of sellotape don't go that far so sadly we had to return to the old system.
I had a look on the Scotchtape website for prices and felt that the original prices were a bit too expensive for me but the current half price deals were good value.

"Everyone should invest in one!"
The Scotch Tape Pop Up Handband Dispenser is something I was vaguely aware of but never thought of purchasing. I was happy cutting off bits of tape & sticking them to any nearby surface.... or so I thought! lol.
When I got the Scotch Tape Pop Up Handband Dispenser it was perfectly timed. I had already wrapped most of my kids Christmas presents a few days before, but I still had to wrap some family members' Christmas & Birthday prezzies up. This means that I could compare the two methods: with the dispenser & without.
I took the dispenser from the packaging & inserted the pre-cut tape (the dispenser comes with 1 lot of tape), which was really easy to do. I put it on my left wrist (it's attached by elastic & was comfy to wear) and got the rest of the wrapping regalia out (paper, bows, tags & of course, the presents).
As soon as I started wrapping I was amazed & how much easier & quicker the wrapping became with the addition of this little gadget! I honestly could not believe that I hadn't thought of buying one before. Only a week earlier I had sat on the living room floor, surrounded by presents, paper, scissors, tags, bows, ribbon, rolls of tape & tried to juggle the lot. It took me about twice the amount of time because of having to stop to cut the tape & then trying to hold the paper in place while I stuck it all together.
The device sits comfortably on my wrist & doesn't dig in at all. You can wear it wherever feels comfy, so your wrist or across your fingers etc. The pieces of tape are a great quality & the perfect size. You just pull the piece from the gap at the top & it pops out easily, leaving you free to use the hand it's on to hold the paper together & stick it down.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It's a fab little gadget that saves lots of time & is a really good price too (as are the refills). It's a must-have for all the parents out there who spend hours wrapping their kiddies prezzies every year! It really makes the chore of wrapping a lot easier to handle!

When I saw this I thought what a silly idea - but I eat my words!
You sit the dispenser on your hand/wrist and just pull out a strip of tape when you need it - so simple but so handy!!!
I sat down to wrap some pressies - tape on hand and it took no time - It was a lot easier than folding the paper over the pressie and trying to find the end of the tape and cutting it while the paper slowly unfolds!! Grrr
It was easy to insert the tape block too
I would recommend this to everyone! Especially if you have a pile of pressies to wrap!

I can only echo what the others have said who have beat me to it getting their reviews in! It is fantastic!
I'd already wrapped most of my presents with the ''help'' of my 2 year old. It resulted in bits of tape everywhere with bits of fluff on, being licked etc. and they were not worthy of sticking anything together!
I got this and the presents were done in record time. No faffing with scissors (or teeth!) and sticking the bits on the edge of the coffee table (one invariably gets stuck fast!)
The only downside was that the strips are obviously one length, im not sure if you can buy different sized dispensers but it was no big deal getting the old roll out for the couple that needed a bit more tape on!
I will definately be getting some refils!
