"The Human Body"
At first glance the book looked so busy and difficult to read, with some quite gruesome pictures - like the woman who can pop her eyeballs out of her socket - that I thought my 8 year old would never like it. It turns out she loves it! She's very difficult to get to read as reading bores her, but she's read this book from cover to cover, amazed at all the pictures that accompany the facts.
She's so impressed she's taken it to school to share with teacher and friends! Definately a great factual book written in a way that kids can learn from it.

"Mighty Machines"
My 8 year old was extremely happy to come home from school and find this waiting for him to review! The poster of "Robosaurus" was soon on his wall.
For someone who loves cars etc this is a fab book. Jam-packed full of fascinating facts from office chair racing (honest!) to the space shuttle.
Lucas will sit and read it from cover to cover and likes to ask anyone who listens "Did you know......"
Over all a fantastic book and I have a feeling Mr Claus might just be bringing another Ripley Twists book to this house in December.

This book is superb, my 8 year old with aspergers and ADHD can sit and read this book over and over and never gets bored.
He loves reading and sharing all the facts with everyone in the house and his 2 brothers and 2 sisters will sit and listen to him for hours rambling on lol.
The pullout poster has pride and place on the wall by his bed.
