This was a lovely set of stories that were well narrated. My 7 year old really enjoyed them and the stories were not too long.

I could'nt wait to recieve this audio book and i was'nt dissapointed, Winnie the pooh are classic stories that have been around for generations and will still be around for generations to come.
The audio books comes as a set of three cd's with a number of stories on each, and each story is about 15 mins long. The stories are told by Bernard Cribbins who takes on the voices of each character with great enthusiasm.
I thought the stories were lovely and very well told, unfortunatly my children aged 4 and 2 did'nt share my enthusiasm and ran off after about 5 minutes to play. I feel at their age it could'nt really capture their imagination and they needed something more visual for it to become interesting to them.
Overall i found the audio book very easy to use and good value for money, but think it's more suited for children aged 6 and above.

"Lovely Stories"
This Audio Book is simply lovely! It comes as a set of three CDs, and explains right at the beginning of the first CD the fact that Christopher Robin has been away from the Hundred Acre Wood for 80 years (it is 80 years since the original stories were written) and is returning (this CD brings new stories to the adventures of that adorable Bear, Winnie-the-Pooh!).
The 3 CDs have a number of different stories on them and are told 'dramatically' so my 6 year old son says by Bernard Cribbins. He found Bernard Cribbins ability to take on the voices of each character with great enthusiasm very funny at times; we laughed and smiled our way through many of the stories.
Each story was about 15 minutes long, so my son could sit still and listen during this time as the storyline captured his imagination. He described the stories as 'interesting'.
Each CD is broken up into roughly 2 minute tracks so you can stop and start stories mid-flow very easily. The CD case has little pictures of all the main characters in the stories for children to look at and I would say that this Audio Book, which has numerous stories on, is good value for money. I think it would make a lovely present for children age 3 to 8.
