"fab learning game"
I couldnt wait to test this game out on my 3yr old daughter she loved the puppy and she kept saying is this for me? The idea of the game is to put the colour bone in the puppys mouth when he asks for it, my daughter thought this was fun and she knows her colours but its still a fun learning game for preschoolers. I would recommend it and it would make a fab Christmas present for a little one, price is reasonable too.

"Fun educational game"
Red Rover is a fun, educational and active game to play. My two kids enjoyed playing it, finding it fun, and I was pleased that it was educational. The toy dog looks cute and well made, and involves collecting bones by colour, shape, letters and numbers. The concept of the game involves collecting the bones that Rover asks for and placing them in his mouth. He tells you whether you are right or not so it encourages learning. My 4 year old found the game quite easy, but still fun. I am sure my 2 year old will get more use out of it.
It could be an ideal activity for pre-school birthday parties, childrens get togethers etc.
Overall I was happy with the game and would be happy to purchase it at around £15.

"Red Rover"
My girls wanted this game as soon as they saw the tv advert! Both girls are easily able to play the game (my youngest is 2 and half) and as my youngest is just mastering all her colours this is an ideal toy to test her! Its a nice looking toy which my youngest likes to carry around with her everywhere and seems to be well made upto now!! I think it would be more reasonably priced at around £15 for what it is. The only negative is that the voice is quite annoying for me....but then I am an adult and it is based at kids...they dont mind his voice! I would recommend this toy as it is great for pre schjool children....finding the numbered bones makes it more age appropriate for my 3 n half year old so its quite versatile for different ages.

"Fun and Very Cute"
This is a very cute little puppy shaped game which my almost 4yr old fell in love with straight away. All the 'bones' for the game fit handily into red rover's backpack, so there is little chance of losing any bits.
This game would be great for any child learning their colours, abc, 123 and a few shapes. As it is my daughter already knows them all but still loved playing the game. The game has two options, colours only or shapes/letters/numbers.
From an adults perspective it's a bit repetitive and the games don't last very long. So probably ideal for preschool children then!!!
I would wait to get it in the sale as I think it's a bit costly but on the otherhand it is very well made and robust.

"Fun learning Toy"
When red rover arrived I was unsure whether to test it on my 20 month old or 4 year old so I let them both play and they both enjoyed the game but I would suggest age range of maybe 2+. The game itself is fun to play, the bones are stored within the toy so should not get lost. The object is to insert into Rovers mouth the bones he asks for. My youngest caught onto this concept very quickly, although unable to identify particular bones yet, I feel soon she will start to identify them getting more pleasure from the game and it will become a good learning tool. My eldest rushed around with his friends collecting bones but soon lost interest. The toy is a nice size, well made and sturdy, it's only downside is it is quite loud. All in all it is a nice toy with an educational feature but a little expensive at full rrp.
