"Definitly a favourite in our house"

My daughter 6 and son 4 absolutly loved this DVD, they watched it over and over again and were constantly running to tell me when something funny had happened. Even now they still sing the theme song as loud as possible! Definitly worth adding to your childs collection and it came with a free toy which was a bonus. Only negative thing is the cardboard sleeve it came in which i put into the front of a plastic box to keep the DVD safe.

"lovely dvd"

my daughter enjoyed watching this DVD because she likes the colours and the songs and the repetition. the little toy that came with it was nice too. The DVD is quite parent friendly too as I find some kids programs very boring. The box was quite appealing but I was a little disappointed that the DVD doesn't come in a standard case and only comes in a little cardboard slip but other than that its a great product.

"Raa Raa was Raaaaarly Good!"

We took the new new Raa Raa the Noisy Lion DVD away to my Mum's with us and my daughter has been thoroughly enjoying watching it! She,as with most of her friends has become Very fond of Raa Raa recently and he always brings a smile to her face. We think the DVD is brilliant! It’s boisterous, loud and full of colour – just perfect for a toddler and the best bit is that it encourages little ones to use their communication skills not just by speech but by sounds, gestures and facial skills. It’s narrated by Lorraine Kelly and the stories really are very sweet and the characters from Raa Raa himself to all of his pals, Crocky the crocodile, Zebby the zebra, Ooo Ooo the cheeky little monkey and the rest are all very charming brightly coloured and engaging. All in all a really good watch with lots of elements to entertain and occupy little minds. We also loved the fact that this particular DVD comes in a gift box complete with a small plastic toy of Raa Raa which is super cute. We weren’t so keen on the fact that once the presentation box has been opened you are left with just a cardboard sleeve for the DVD and not a proper case, it will get ripped at some point meaning I’ll have to buy a case for it and we think it would be better for storage and keeping looking good if it came with a hard plastic case but that really is our only complaint! Great buy for a tiny tot!

"Fun & Entertaining"

We had never seen Raa Raa before so when the dvd arrived both my children aged 2 & 4 were eager to put it on. It is very good to watch, the animals on the screen are bright and funny and my little one fell in love with all the animals straight away. There are 8 short episodes on the dvd of the right length to keep little ones focused and entertained. The repetition and rhyming is very educational at a young age and the dvd also has some problem solving. All in all it is a good dvd and we enjoyed the fact that it came with a free lion, the dvd is packed in a cardboard slip but that to me is a plus in respects of space saving.

"Great DVD"

If your child loves Raa Raa than this is a must have.My daughter loved the DVD with all the rhymes and songs plus it teaches problem solving skills.The little lion toy was a nice touch and the Raa Raa figure joined all the fun during the show.
I was a bit dissapointed with the packaging as its too easy to get damaged and the DVD to get lost.

"brilliant"

My 2 year old is now a firm fan of Raa Raa. She loved this dvd with it's rhymes & songs she was soon copying. The little Raa Raa toy that comes with it was perfect size to be held & taken everywhere with her.
I feel it's actualy quite educational as it teaches problem solving skills, rhyme (which is used a lot to teach in schools so always handy to have a head start) & about social skills which to me are one of lifes most valuable skills.
The only down side was the cardboard case the actual dvd came in. As others have said very flimsey so won't last long if little ones get hold of them!!
All in all though a great addition to our dvd collection & pretty good value for money.

"Great series but could be better packaged"

My 2-year old loved watching Raa Raa and his friends in their jungle adventures. The eight episodes are nicely animated with a catchy theme tune, and lovable characters. The stories include a lot of rhyme and repetition to help with your little ones' language and communication.

It was a nice addition having the Raa Raa toy in the package, and my little boy likes playing with the toy. I would've preferred a proper plastic DVD case rather than a thin cardboard DVD cover inside the box though, as the cardboard cover doesn't look very sturdy and is more likely to get lost amongst our other DVDs.

Also, I think it would have offered better value for money if the entire series was on the DVD rather than just eight episodes, particularly as you can watch Raa Raa for free on BBC Iplayer.

"great entertainment."

This dvd has brought great entertainment to my 3 year old. The music and songs are catchy and have had my son singing along.

The 8 episodes are just the right length and keep my son mesmerised, the dvd has become a firm favourite already and a lovely addition to our dvd collection.

The added bonus of the free toy has enabled my son to join in the songs using the lion as a prop.

I was slightly dissapointed with the card sleave as i feel this would get damaged easily and missplaced.

"Fun, Fun, Fun!!"

Raa Raa the Noisy Lion was a fantastic addition to our DVD collection. My youngest daughter, aged 2 years was mesmerised by the characters as she watched their noisy adventures. There are 8 episodes on the DVD so it is definate value for money, with an RRP of £10.20. Even better, you also receive a small Raa Raa figure with the DVD and I have watched my daughter incorporate this with other toys, acting out parts of the episodes she has seen. Raa Raa doesn't disappoint, and kept my little one very happy while she watched. 10/10 =)
