"Great and so easy to use"
The pro mic is for ages 8+ but my 6 year old was fine with it so definatly ok for younger children who like to sing .
My children actually LOVE singing so when this arrived, they were so excited, the pro mic takes 4aa batteries which are NOT included.
I was actually dreading it thinking it would be so complicated to change the songs on it, the 2 songs already installed the children didn't know so I set to work and it was the easiest thing ever, you are supplied with the usb cable to plug into the pc and the song only took a few minutes to put on and we were off.
you can store upto 3 songs on your effects amp and then it totally perfects your voice infact I even sounded good, you have 6 different voice effects you can choose from also depending on what you want to sing, I tended to use the Auto one hoping it would help me sound ok.
The children really enjoyed this and have used it lot's and they said it is really good fun.

"great fun"
This is a great alternative to a karaoke machine.
My daughter loves the sound of her own voice and this has been very popular.
Singing to the songs she has loaded onto it - or singing on her own with no backing track, she sounds like a popstar!
My only quibble with it is that it does look a little cheap, it looks suited to a younger child but is aimed at an older one.
A great gift for that wannabe popstar!

"Great fun!"
First, before we got to play, I had to get batteries for this, as it comes without them. So we got it switched on, and it was such good fun! It actually makes your voice come out sounding like a good singer! Even my 2 year old sang 'Bob the builder' into it, and he sounded good!
The 2 songs supplied with it I hadn't heard before, but more can be loaded onto it, so not a problem.
My 10 year old wants to use it next week when she invites her friends over for a sleepover at our house, so that should keep the girls amused.
I like the melody and chorus buttons, they make it sound like you are not singing alone!
You don't have to sing to the loaded songs, you can turn them off and sing your own songs (as my 2 year old did) and this is great fun!

My 6 year old daughter has been playing with this non stop! She thinks she is the next Cheryl cole, good fun, easy to use, but limited songs on it.
