"Reasonably priced fun day out"
Unlike most theme parks Pleasurewood Hills has kept it's entrance prices down whereas Alton Towers has put it's prices up about £25 over the past years Pleasurewood Hills has hardly put it's up at all over the same time.
Anyway comparisons to Alton Towers, Chessington, Thorpe Park etc are going to fall flat on it's face as sadly to say PH has been rather run into the ground over the years and it's lacked the necessary investment in new attractions etc BUT it still occupies a unique position as the only theme park in east anglia!!
In places it shows as the canopies on the cable car are perished and paint around is flaking in places but that doesn't detract from having a fun time.
It's not all bad at all it makes a brilliant day out, the queues are perfectly reasonable (try saying that about Alton Towers in the summer hols!) and we got 3 adults and 2 children and 1 baby in for £30 with their regular BOGOF entry vouchers (try tickred.co.uk registration reqd or google for them).
Anyway there are some rides like the pirate boat, wizzy diizy and quite a few others. PH also have a fantastic circus even Oliver at 12 months was enthralled by it 45 mins well spent.
Of course once you get in almost everything is included apart from some minor amusements etc.
There are also parrot shows and sea lion shows the latter allows the children to get soaked by a sea lion splash.
Overall I rate the place highly William (3) loved the pirate boat and sat the putting his hands in the air and screaming like the bigger kids (who thought he was hilarious!).
Food is also not badly priced at about £6 for fish n chips for example, you can also eat your lunch inside an old railway carriage which William loved
Maybe not enough to keep thrill seeking teens amused but certainly a value packed family day out

A swish awards ceremony at London’s InterContinental Hotel on Park Lane last month unveiled the winning beauty products no lady’s make-up bag should be without.
