"A little disappointed but the kids love it"
When the rock and ride arrived it was very easy to put together but I did have to work out from the photo on the box where the stickers went.
The yellow safety bit was a bit awkward to get to click on but by tipping it over it is easy to see what your doing.
It was tested out by my 18mth old Oliver and my 12mth old nephew and they both loved it, especially the horn and phone(although the phone keeps disappearing as it's not attatched to anything).
My main problems with it are the fact that I assumed I'd be able take it out for walks outdoors but I really don't think it would be suitable as it has anti-tip part at the back which would make it impossible to get up any kerbs.(It actually was harder to push on the carpet in the house because of this)
Also even though it has these safety measures to stop it being tipped backwards my nephew leaned sideways and it tipped over but luckily he wasn't hurt.
If you are after something for your little one to play with in the house then it is fine but not really for outdoors walking with your child.

"not something i would buy"
If I saw this product in the store, I might stop to consider buying it, but would probably think twice and walk on. And, to be honest, that's the best choice in the matter. Walk on.
It's a pain to put together. Where it says there should be a "click" when putting together the steering wheel and front wheels, there wasn't any. And no matter how hard I looked, I saw no way for there to be a click. It looks and feels like it will fall apart at any moment and, in fact, sometimes it does.
The rock part is a base the whole thing sits on and it's supposed to, again, click into place. And again, mine wouldn't. But it didn't matter because as soon as it sat on the base, the whole thing became quite unstable and tipped quite easy. Besides which, it didn't rock.
The play phone that comes with it doesn't actually stay attached to the toy and ends up lost under the couch. And really, it's only a feasible toy to use with the product when the yellow bit is on. When that is taken off for an older child to climb on by his/herself the phone has no place to sit.
With everything I disliked about this product, it didn't really matter to the boys because as soon as i "put it together" they went crazy over it and fought over the stupid thing. They still both love playing with it. My six month old likes the horn and phone and my two year old tips it over and pretends to fix it like a mechanic.
