"Nice for a spot of pampering"

This is a difficult one to review as, I feel it all comes down to personal perception of the product.

It's a lovely, thick cream that is a brilliant moisturiser and makes you feel nice. But whether it actually helps avoid/reduce stretchmarks remains to be seen.

Not bad value for money as is a really nice moisturiser and you get plenty for your money. But I"m not sure if I'd buy it as who has time to moisturise daily with two small children!

Great if you want to feel like you could be doing something baout stretch marks, but I'm not convinced!

"Great for the stretchmarks!"

I have to say it's brilliant. I used it for my first pregnancy but only when I remembered and ended up with loads of stretchmarks. This time round I'm using it faithfully every night and it's stopping the dry skin and uncomfortable feeling that I had first time round.

It may not prevent stretchmarks completely but it's doing a very good job on mine.

"Best body butter during pregancy"

Palmer's cocoa massage butter is really good for itching tummy skin during pregancy. The texture is very light which makes it easy to absorb into the skin. I enjoy applying it to my tummy every night, not only it helps soothing the itchness of the skin, it is also a good massaging session for the baby, I felt the baby really enjoys it too. It is a must buy for mums to be.

"Great cream "

I loved this cream it moisturised my skin really well, liked the smell too.

I used a different cream before I received this cream, and quickly switched to this one as it didn't leave my skin tacky which my other cream did.

I had stretch marks from my previous pregnancies and although I got bigger this time I didn't get any more which is great.

I use this all over my body and my skin feels nice and soft.

"Nice overall product"

Didnt think the cream smelt that nice but it went on lovely not at all greasy, easily absorbed when in a rush to dress!!
Had a lot of stretch marks from my twin pregnancy and havent noticed a great improvement in fading like other mums have commented but have only being using it for 2 weeks so hoping that will come the more i use it.
Easy to apply especailly with the pump action.
A lovely lotion to use overall.

"Smells Lovely!"

I starting using this a couple of weeks ago and have noticed that my skin has become lovely and smooth. I have a couple of stretch marks from my previous pregnancies but had used Palmers before and they seemed to have faded. So far have none this time.

In pregnancy I get really dry, flaky skin and this lotion has improved this so much it has mostly gone.

It smells lovely although the scent is not too strong so you can apply in the morning without it affecting the perfume you might put on.

I would prefer it if it was in a tub or squeezy bottle as I find lots is left in the bottle that can't be pumped out.

All in all a great product for keeping my skin tip top during pregnancy.

"Does what it says on the bottle"

Love this product!!

The main reason being it does what it says it does. Im on my second pregnancy & still stretch mark free.

I have used it from the start with both pregnancies.

With a lovely texture its easy to rub in after a shower or bath, without leaving you feeling greasy or sticky. It sinks straight into your skin & begins to work its magic.

Wonderful cocoa scent, which instantly reminds me of holidays & gives a luxurious feel to your skin.

Its a product I would continue to buy if I was pregnant again & definitely value for money at under £5! A little does tend to go along way.

It comes in an easy to use pump action bottle, so no gunky residue gathers around the lid.

Personally I dont find any faults with this product & think that Palmers is a name that can without doubt be trusted. With many products on the market promising to do the same thing but failing , its reassuring to find one that works , easy to use & a reasonable price.
