"Pleasant to take"

Omiage Perinatal Supplements are supplements to be used by women who are trying to conceive, pregnant, or breastfeeding. They support both Mum and baby's needs. It is described as 'a well-considered selection that takes into account the typical Western diet'. I therefore felt confident taking these as they seemed to be a well researched product. I took them during the last month of my pregnancy and was happy to do so as I felt they might give my baby's growth and immune system a bit of a boost before birth. I had taken supplements throughout my pregnancy anyway, but not as high a quality perhaps.

They consisted of 2 capsules (per day) - average sized - not hard to swallow. My previous supplements were bigger and more difficult to swallow. They also had a very sweet smell which was a pleasant surprise as some supplements can smell vile. They didn't upset my tummy in anyway, which can happen with some supplements.

They are expensive ( I think they're about £23 a box) but I think that given their purpose, (helping to grow a healthy baby and helping maintain your own health) I would probably pay this amount.

Overall, I would recommend this product. I felt it was a high quality supplement and as most mums want to do their best, many would happily pay the cost. It was also well packaged and the box gave a lot of useful and reassuring information.

"Smell lovely - but they're expensive!"

The box of multivitamins contained 60 capsules: 30 perinatal caplets and 30 DHA softgel tablets.

Compared with other pregnancy-geared multivitamins, I thought Omiage were easier to swallow. They were definitely smaller than the ones I had been taking. I also really liked the smell of the tablets.

As far as value for money is concerned, I think the Omiage tablets are on the expensive side. I have seen them advertised for about £23 for 60 tablets (a month's supply). With this in mind, they would not be my first choice of pregnancy multivitamins.

"Useful supplement"

How easy is it to use?
The tablets are rather large to swallow, taking the two tablets everyday can be little difficult.

Does it do what it's supposed to?
The product is designed to improve the babys health and my recovery after birth.

Is it value for money - Would you buy it at its normal retail price?
The product is quite expensive when compared with other pregnancy multivitamins available.

Appearance - How does it look?
The tablets look and smell quite nice and sweet.
