"Effective barrier"
I'm writing my review from a different angle - after posting in TBW forums about how my son was getting a sore looking botty since moving into cotton pants (recently potty trained) I was kindly sent a tub of this cream to try out and see if it helped at all.
I could only use it at night while my son was wearing pull-up pants as it doesn't rub into the skin - something I personally like from a nappy cream as it acts as a good barrier.
Found it easy to apply, not really greasy like some other well-known creams which made it easy to wash off my hands, but it left a long-lasting barrier on the skin.
The pot is a really handy shape and size for carrying in a nappy bag etc and the lid secures tightly.
My sons problem appeared to be a little irritation from wearing cotton pants which obviously his skin wasn't used to, it wasn't so much nappy rash but a red patch which looked as though it could become sore. I feel using this cream every night really helped.
The problem has now cleared up, but if it were to flare up again I wouldn't hesitate using this cream to help soothe it.

"Fantastic for Eczema"
I loved the dinky pot this beautifully scented balm was packaged in, it wasn't thick and gloopy like some creams and absorbed into my babies (and my) skin really quickly.
I found it to be an excellent moisturiser and barrier cream, but when I applied it to my 15 month old daughter's nappy rash (she is teething badly at the moment so her bottom was very sore), it hardly made a difference and I had to use another cream to calm her skin.
I tried it on my eldest daughter's eczema when she had a flare up on her face and it was absolutely fantastic! She is 14 and said it felt really cooling and soothing and calmed the redness down almost immediately - so I would recommend this cream for anyone suffering from eczema.
So then I thought I'd try it on my 5 year old's unexplained peeling sore, cracked skin on his toes and it was amazing! The skin on his toes the next morning looked so much better, the cracks had all but disappeared and by day two, his toes were well moisturised and back to normal! I was able to stop using the Hydrocortisone cream my g.p. had prescribed, which I wasn't happy using. Thumbs up from me, but not for extreme nappy rash.

"Smooth and soothing balm!"
I've been testing this balm for just over a month now and overall, I am very happy with it. It is very smooth to apply without being at all sticky or greasy, it is also easily absorbed rather than forming a difficult to remove layer. This means that it is fantastic at treating redness/soreness, with visible improvements within hours of applying;just the sort of thing I would use nappy cream for.
I find the balm has a pleasant smell, quite fresh and you can definitely smell the calendula in there!
The container or 'pot' the cream is in is well thought out, in that it has a seperate little inside lid to keep it moist, however it does not lend itself to taking along in a nappy change bag as much as perhaps a tube would.
A little goes a long way with this cream, so although the price tag, at first, might seem quite high, it is probably worth it. I have just read the other reviews for this cream and will be trying it on my little girl's dry cheeks tomorrow, where the cold weather has caused some soreness!
Overall, a fantastic product, with the reassurance that it is all natural and mild for baby's skin.

"Good for dry skin"
My one year old boy has had a couple of bouts of nappy rash - this cream is thinner than other brands so absorbs really quickly and spreads really easy so you don't need as much. The cream calmed the skin within 12 hours and the nappy rash had gone within a couple of days. I'm not keen on the smell of it, although it does smell naturally 'earthy'. Have also used on husband's face as he gets very dry skin in winter due to working in the cold and this has reduced the redness. Overall, good alternative nappy cream although a little expensive for me.

"excellent - lovely smell"
As a sudocream user i have always been sceptical of other creams as the are more expensive and seem to do the same job.
However i do love this cream, it smells lovely, easy to use, and works a treat.
However for me the £10 or £9 price tag is expensive considering it is the size of a small pot of face cream.
I cant knock the cream i do think its fab and if you dont mind spending a bit of extra money on creams and things that run out quite quickly then you will be happy with this cream. However if you use a fair amount at each nappy change like me - then you will probably stick to the large sudocream which is better value for money and clears everything up and lasts a lot longer.

"Brilliant product!"
This cream arrived whilst my 10 month old daughter had just got over a tummy bug and had a very sore bum. I was struggling with the regular nappy creams as they are very thick and difficult to smother on. This cream is so easy to apply, smells lovely and had an amazing affect on the nappy rash within a few hours! It is fabulous and I will definately be purchasing this item when I've run out!!

"Excellent alternative"
I believe this product a brilliant alternantive to the the major nappy cream brands!
I found that a very little goes a long way and it is much less thicker than other creams which means it doesn't feel as though you are smothering your baby's skin. Plus the added bonus is it is all organic so no horrible chemicals either on little ones bottom! It smells lovely and natural too.
I also loved that it comes in a small tub that fits snugly in my changing bag - no more tubes leaking or big grey bulky containers taking up more than their fair share of space.
Excellent product and I will definatley look into buying more when this runs out...which will be a while from now...and also the Green Peoples other products.

"Fab product!"
I love this product! My daughter is four months and teething so unfortunately has been suffering from nappy rash aswell, I have only used it for two days and her rash has really calmed down, she also has eczema and I have used it for that too. I originally thought £9.25 was quite expensive for a tub of nappy balm but it is really lovely and i would definitely buy it. I have used a few different nappy creams for my 3 kids, this one is my favourite.

"amazing product"
Nappy cream baby balm is an amazing product. It is as soft as butter and it has a very mild natural smell to it. The only gripe that i have is the price at £9.25. But dont get me wrong if I had the money I would buy this product again.

"A Baby Bag Essential"
Bright and easy to open packaging. Love the inner lid which keeps the balm nice and moist. My daughter has quite dry skin and can get irritation from some baby wipes. I used this balm after every nappy change and I am happy to say no more rashes and lovely soft skin. This smells much nicer than other comparable balms/ ointments and goes on well without going all over the baby's clothes, my clothes, my hands etc. I loved the tub which is more practical than a tube. I also think this product will last longer compared to tube balms/ointments. As an added bonus I have found my hands are now super moisturised. Although it appears to be slightly more expensive than the other brands on the market I do think it will last longer than the others. It is also organic and better for the environment. I would definitely recommmend this as a baby bag essential.

"baby balm"
I have used this product for 2 days now and already have noticed a massive difference to my son's skin. He is 5 months old and has very dry skin. This has helped a lot. It leaves his skin glowing. I have even used it on myself too. Fantastic Product. Great value for money.
