"Clever but lacking punch"
I was quite intrigued when I received this book and my 4 year old loves reading so we dived in straight away. The scratch and sniff idea was very clever and the smells were pretty spot on, especially the lavender. However, I felt that the story itself was a little weak and Tom certainly didn't enthusiastically clammer for an immediate re-read, as he does with so many books we read together for the first time. The story seemed contrived in order to introduce the different smells rather than mapped out to interest young readers before seamlessly integrating them. From my point of view it was convoluted; from Tom's it just seemed a little pointless, which was probably worse. He did enjoy the rhyming section at the end (possibly a reminder of other books with a more crafted narrative) but ultimately this just didn't grab him.

"Fantastic fun"
This book is fab..... I read it to my little boy of 4, who could barely contain his excitement upon receiving it. When I told him that it was a special book a scratch & sniff book he was amazed. My son also enjoyed the levender smell as it reminded him of summer he said :) The last time I remember a scratch and sniff book was when I was a child as I've not seen them since. Definitley a good buy and a keep that my youngest little boy will eventually enjoy.... 10/10 from me.

"dissapointing"
I waited this book eagerly as I had heard good things about it ... sadly i was quite dissapointed!
Although the story was fine and midly amusing, I found that the scratch and sniff pages all smelled pretty much the same! I think that all the smells had been overpowered by the lavender scent on one of the pages.
My three daughters all felt the same as me and the book really had little novelty factor for them and after 5 minutes it was consigned to the overflowing bookshelf!
A shame as I had high hopes for this ... perhaps too high and that it why I found it such a dissapointment. In my view however, the cost price of the book would be far better spent on one of the classic childrens' books (Little Rabbit Foo Foo, Going on a Bear Hunt, etc).

"Awesome fun "
Couldnt wait for this to come as we had never had a scratch and sniff book before. When it came the kids couldnt wait to sit down and start reading it :) My 8 year old daughter loved reading it to my 5 year old son. My son loved it think its the first time he has sat down and read the whole book with us made the stary more exciting. The smells were great and i think it made us feel more part of the story :). My son now reads it all the time and the smells are still going strong. Great book will defantly be looking to get more. If you have a very busy little boy like mine and cant get them to sit down for 5 mins for a story you have to try one of these :).

"Ingenious"
Well my daughter has not put this book down since the minute it dropped through my door.It is such a clever idea... a scratch and sniff that really works and lasts... we all had to have a sticker too. The lavender page is her favourite and says it reminds her of nanny's house :D A lovely story which adds something different to all the noisy books you can get. Can't wait to see if more are coming out in the series as we'll be the first to buy. Highly recommended.

"What a fantastic idea!"
My Son loves reading anyway, but he adores this book! As soon as it arrived and we read the introduction, he wanted to find the smelly bits. He has read the story countless times since, always giggling when he comes to the smelly shoe bit and loving the chocolate cake smell! He loves the actual story, but having something interactive (that isn't noisy for a change!!!) encourages him to keep turning the pages.
Brilliant concept!

To continue on my voyage of discovery through Ford’s newest range I was to spend some time with the latest Kuga Titanium in its 2.0-litre diesel guise.
