"Bran flakes - crunchy!"

We tried the Mornflakes bran flakes. I know bran flakes are normally seen as boring but we do normally buy them (albeit a different make!) and my fiance & I both enjoy them.

These bran flakes were in a lovely box with a window in the front & the first thing I noticed is that they are a lighter colour than my usual brand. When I tried them I was happy to find they they stayed quite crunchy, even when they had been sitting in the milk for a little while. Also they taste really nice. They seem to have more flavour than the bran flakes we usually buy too.

All in all, these are a nice product & I will be switching from my normal brand of bran flakes to these from now on!

we did add sugar but we do with most cereals
i probably wouldnt have bought these in the supermarket as i didnt like the look of the box but goes to show how packaging can sway us i would definatley buy more of this and try the other cereals from them we are big cereal eaters here too

"Superfast Oats"

When I received this through the post, my first thoughts were 'URGH Porridge!' BUT, being on a Weight Watcher diet I decided to try it.
I used half milk and half water to mix it with, it really is Superfast as it only takes 4.5 minutes in the microwave!!
I was VERY Pleasantly surprised, it's YUMMY!!! It's not like porridge, more like a sweeter version, I added different things to it over the last 2 weeks, it was great with Banana and Strawberries.
I lost 3.5lbs last week, and another 2 this week so it's certainly helping me!!
It's already on my shopping list for next week, what a lovely start to the day!! It kept me full enough until way past lunchtime!

"oatbran sprinkles"

we received the oatbran sprinkles from mornflake to try.
You can sprinkle them on your regular cereal or you can make a porridge with them.
We chose to make a porridge.
It is very simple and quick to make.
The overall flavour was good but the texture was very bitty - but if you were sprinkling it over cereal I don't think the texture would matter as much.
My 2yr old loved it and wants it most mornings now.

"Very Berry Oatbran Flakes"

Upon opening I though ugh, branflakes, becasue that is what they looked like, but ahwt they lose out on looks they sure make up for in tast taste. The packet says "Crunchy flakes of oatbran and wholewheat with delicious strawberries, cherries and raspberries" and I thought it's just going to be tiny pieces of the fruit that will hardly be noticable amongst the flakes, but I was wrong again! Whole freezedried raspberries, half freezedried strawberries & cherries and plenty of them.
I thought I'd have the box to myself as the kids usually have nothing to do with 'healthy' cereal, but Elijah (my eldest) decided to try them and lets just say I had to move the packet so that I could actually get to eat some!!
Pleasantly surprised by what looks like just another box of cereal, but it certainly tastes nothing like that. Full marks to Mornflake!

" Very Yummy"

I got in the post a box of Mornflake swiss-style Muesli with Apple. I have not eaten muesli in about 20 years so was looking forward to trying this. My 1st thought is that I would not enjoy the apple and it might me too over powering but how wrong was I.

I poured a bowl and thought it looked like any other bowl of museli then in evey spoonful you get the crunch of whole hazel nuts and a crunch from the flaked almonds and a hint of apple that is just perfect and also nice juicy raisins.

I will certainly be looking into buying this for my breakfast from now on, can wait for mornings now :)
