"Great for tea lovers"

The different flavor teas came in little tins which were very cute and handy to take out with you. I used the strainer which came with mine but i found it quite fiddly to do as i have problems with feeling things with the end of my fingers so putting the tea leafs into the strainer was difficult.

I'm not normally a tea drinker but found the herbal teas quite refreshing and it would be the sort of thing i would drink if i wanted something a little different.

I think these would make a lovely gift for someone and i would be happy to receive these myself a... as long as they came in a bag.

"Portable loose-leaf tea - excellent concept!"

6 teas & 6 herbal infusions in lovely, dinky, little tins, each bearing a description of the contents and instructions. The filters and sticks were a great addition as I have no such accessories and, to be honest, always saw loose-leaf tea as a bit of a hassle. I am reformed!!! The tins and accessories could be easily transported to work etc and the tins are great for re-use.

As a massive tea drinker I enjoyed most of the tea flavours and some of the infusions, although my preferred tipple is builder strength Assam so I did find some a little subtle for my personal taste. My kitchen smelt wonderful after each cup and any that I didn't drink (camomile & peppermint turn my stomach!) ended up being passed to my hippy sister who drinks all that sort of thing, or her friends who most likely rolled & smoked it. But hey, waste not, want not!

I've since visited the Leaf Shop website and I'm going to order some of the other teas on there to give them a whirl, as I still have plenty of filters and sticks left.

I would recommend them, surprisingly different and an excellent concept!

"Not My Cup Of Tea"

I was really excited when I got this through. The small tins are fantastic and very eye catching. Good for Xmas Presents. I did find it a bit fiddly to be honest but tested them none the less. I am not a big fan of flavoured teas, I liked one of them but unfortunately I did not like the rest.

I think for a flavoured tea lover they are an ideal gift, they just weren't my cup of tea!

"Perfect Inroduction"

I have to admit that I had never had leaf tea before so I was very unsure about how they would work.

When I receved the pack I was pleased to see little filters enclosed with the teas. An excellent add in as I don't have a tea strainer.

The packs were well presented with instructions on each tin to tell you how long to infuse the teas for before drinking and also a one line description of the tea.

The Herbal pack, I have to say were my favourite, although I liked the other pack, mini tea, also.

The teas had great flavour to them without being overpowering.

I looked at the website and was pleased to see you could buy the individual filters in packs fo 40 as well as the different teas.

The tasters were ideal to help to pick the teas that you liked the most without having to waste a large amount if they were not liked. Definate must for a leaf tea novice!

"Exquisite"

This little gift selection consists of 6 teas and 6 herbal infusions. Each tea and infusion tins are very simply, but elegantly presented. The mini tins feature a lid which slides open, making short work of putting the teas in the filters and avoiding that 'pop' which would then be followed by a mess of loose tea everywhere. Each flavour of 'tea' also has a suggested infusion time, which is stated on the label - a very nice little touch. The paper filters and wooden stick make very effective 'tea bags' but allow the loose leaves ample room in which to infuse with the boiling water, enabling optimum taste and flavour.

The 6 tins of tea are a variety of black, green, blue, white and green teas. The black teas truly showed the quality of the loose leaves as they provide a depth of flavour, a warm and natural flavour with a woody undertone. The leafshop variety of teas are extremely far from the usual loose black teas that have a harsh and bitter aftertaste to them, these teas are very well balanced, clean and are a sensory delight. You can see the quality of the loose leaves just by looking at and smelling them. They look and smell like real loose tea leaves, as opposed to, the strong-smelling dusty stuff that is normally available in the shops. The quality of the loose leaves is unquestionably good.

The infusions are where the quality of the loose leaves really show. Historically, whenever I have tried loose camomile tea, I have been left with an overwelmingly harsh, bitter and strong aftertaste in my mouth. However, the Leafshop loose leaf camomile infusion was delightfully pleasant. The infusions are very delicately flavoured, clean, light and very smooth: an excellent example of this is the organic rooibos infusion. Despite the delicacy of the 'teas' each variety has a wonderful depth of flavour.

The 'teas' are not for everyone. They are for those tea-lovers that appreciate perfection. Leafshop teas and infusions are an exquisite sensory experience.

"A delicious and classy tea"

I enjoyed tasting this sample of 12 teas from the leafshop. The packaging is simple and yet sophisticated. The design is appealing. I loved the little sample tins with the sliding lids. It was fun to open up each tin to see the different textures and smells of the teas. A couple of the teas had rose petals in them and the flavours were evident when I drank them. I liked the fact that it is loose leaf tea so that you can see all the different leaves and herbs in the teas. The filters that were provided were cute.

Normally with fruit teas they smell nicer than they taste. That's not the case with these ones. They smell nice but they taste delicious. The colours of the brewed tea are very pure.

My favourite tea was the refreshing infusion with a peppery bite. It's delicious. I also particularly enjoyed the balancing infusion with ayurveda. It had rose petals in it and other interesting herbs and spices. It left a delicate sweet taste in the mouth. The camomile tea tasted good. It is relaxing before bed and I got to sleep very quickly after drinking it. The black tea with rose petals is delicate and has a very nice taste and smell. The black tea with lychee is refreshing.

It's a healthy and tasty alternative to tea and coffee and I'm really glad to have been introduced to this delicious, high quality tea.

"Beautifully presented and great tasting teas"

I am a big tea drinker so was thrilled with this product. This was my first venture into loose tea, so I was relieved when the pack came with paper filters.

The tea arrived in two small sets of six varied taster tins, and each tin held enough to make a brew for two. They are beautifully presented, with instructions for brewing on each tin. There was an intriguing variety of teas per set: the peppermint was much nicer than my usual tea bag peppermint, and I tried and enjoyed a couple I had never heard of before - verbena infusion and organic blue tea. The fact that it was loose tea made my tea break slightly more 'special' than usual.

I had never heard of www.leafshop.co.uk before so headed over to their website, which is easy to navigate and full of interesting products which would make great gifts or for personal use. The teas are all 100% natural and all infusions are caffeine free.

Overall, a delight to look at, great tasting teas, of high quality and unique. Ideal gifts and I think I may have been persuaded by these teas to purchase a new teapot and strainer.

"pleasantly surprised"

In all honesty I have never bought anything like this & previously wouldn't have considered it. So when I received the funky little tins with a massive variety of flavoured teas it was a first!

To begin with the packaging appealed to me , it was simple yet a funky look to it, the small tins are perfect to an infusion virgin like myself. Giving the opportunity to sample all of them to see which suits best.

The flavours are surprisingly different , a couple were not to my taste, but with such a varied choice that's not surprising. Again this is why I liked the sample tins so much.

A refreshing change & have already placed an order for more of my favourites.

all in all a fab product & clearly a company that specialize in what they do.

"Lovely present idea"

I loved this product, I do like my different teas so was pleased that I got to test this out and also took it to a friend who also loves infusions and she has told me that she is definitely going to go online and buy some as it was exactly to her taste.

I thought that the little taster tins were prefect as you never know if you are going to like a flavour and this is good enough and you wouldn't feel you have wasted your money. I loved the infusion taster kit, which included lovely flavours of cammomile tea, peppermint, roobois, refreshing infusion and a few others and I liked them all.

The little tins were also very cute.

I am not really a fan of black white and green tea unless it is your original bulk standard tea with milk so I wasn't keen on the taster 6 pack of that but it was fun to have a taste and see what I thought.

The infusing kit that came with it was lovely and presented nicely.

Price was good for what you got definitely as a new buyer or as a present as you are not then wasting money on a taste you dont like, as you have a little try of them all.

You could also just use a normal tea strainer with these teas so you don't need to buy the packs of infusers if you don't want to.

I will be visiting this site again like the other tester and buying some as a gift and some tea for me so I can steer away from caffine for a while!

"Ideal present"

When the teas arrived, my first impression was how nicely they were presented. They come in a little tin, which holds enough tea to make 2 cups of tea. I initially thought these little tins would make a great present for Christmas or birthday's. The taster set has 6 little tins, of different flavours. Also provided were a tea strainer set, which looked so nice I was almost not willing to open it.
Each little taster pack of 6 tins cost £7, so a nice reasonable price for this set.
They were very easy to use, even with the sachets provided. You put the bag into you cup, balanced on the top with the little wooden stick provided. Then put the tea leaves into the little bag, and pour the water over the leaves. This infuses the tea into the water adding the flavour.
The only down side I have to the lovely little set, was the taste. To be honest I am not a big fan of flavoured tea and that is the reason I didn't like it too much. For someone who likes flavoured tea, they would love this though.
All in all a lovely product, nicely packaged with a reasonable price. Just not to my taste sadly. I will definitely be buying this in the future though for Christmas presents and Secret Santa gifts.
