"Really awful to program!"
I thought the idea for the Me finder was a great one. Unfortunately the design for the product is not so good.
It was very difficult and terribly frustrating trying to program all the phone numbers in. It took me a few attempts to get it all done correctly. Once I had finished I gave the Me Finder to my 5 year old daughter to familiarise herself with it, safe in the knowledge she couldn't wipe the phone numbers off or change them. Wrong! She managed to change the Mummy and delete some of the phone number. So after painstakingly entering the number again, And correcting the mistakes I made trying to do so, the Me Finder was ready for an outing to London.
Off my daughter went with Granny to the Theatre wearing her "watch". When she returned home yet again she'd managed to change my name and delete some numbers.
The idea is great but the design is actually awful and extremely frustrating trying to program and re-program the me-finder. It's very time consuming. Dog tags or a bracelet would be just as effective.
Sorry but it's not something I would buy or recommend.

"Easy use, kids love it"
I did not hesitate one minute when I saw the Me Finder for the first time: great idea!
The Me Finder is actually very easy to programme, i just followed the instructions on the box, took me 5 mn to input 3 numbers in each watch. My girls love it, they both put it immediately on their wrists and understood quite simply that it was our phone numbers displayed in case they needed to call us. My 4yrs old understands the concept pretty well and asks me all the time "is this a safe adult?" Now its my job to explain and train them.
They would like to wear it all the time but i mainly use it when traveling or going to crowded places.

"Great Idea"
I used this for my five-year-old son at Lattitude festival this year and it was a big hit. It took a while to programme the numbers in, but once that was done it was great. (We downloaded instructions from the website, which made the programming much easier.) He really liked the monkey design and kept practising what he was supposed to say to a 'responsible-looking' stranger if he couldn't find us. I would definitely recommend this product.

"Great idea"
I love this product - what a great find! My three year old is always wandering off. He gets the whole show and tell thing as he does it at school. Fantastic. I have to admit it was a bit tricky to programme but I kept telling myself it's not the same price as my iphone (my husband found it easier) and my son loves it. It's worth the effort for the peace of mind.

"Complete waste of time"
It took two attempts of taking this out of the box to actually figure out how to use it..and prgoramming the numbers into the device itself was a total nightmare. My partner is an IT tech but even he was getting frustrated with how complicated it seemed to do something so simple! My daughter loved the device itself but couldn't understand that it WASN'T a watch...which prompted some explaning on our part about how there are some nasty people who might take children away, and we need to be careful if we're out and about how not to become separated and to find a grown up to show them your phone number on your pretty bracelet so they can help find mummy and daddy. managed to scare her enough to the point that she doesn't even want to play in our garden on her own! think it might be worth adding this is better for slightly older children...also younger ones have no chance in hell of being able to actually operate it!

"frustrating product "
i recieved this to many squeals of delight from my four year old - he is in monkey room at his nursery and was delighted to see that he had a special monkey watch to wear. i am nowhere near a techonophobe but it took me nearly an hour to get 3 names and numbers stored in it. i then had to spend a further 30 mins explaining to ds how it worked. we put it on him to go out and the product was slightly loose aroung his wrist so kept 'pinching' his skin. my son kept asking me what the time was and thrusting his me finder in my face. i think this could be better designed with a watch in it and make it simpler somehow to enter the data.
i can imagine this will be a very useful tool for days out if we were to get seperated and at least my son has remembered how to use it.

"Great Concept, frustrating product"
I was quite excited to receive the Me finder it sounded like a great idea. It took a lot of time to enter in the numbers. This could partly be down to me!!! I found it frustrating that you had to keep going around the sequence if you had incorrect characters or numbers entered. I still struggle now if I want to move onto a different person details. Which doesn't bode well for my 6 year old or a trusted person eg policeman.
Also my daughter wears a watch so it means she nows has to wear both the watch and the Me Finder which is abit strange. I would have thought they could have incorporated a way of displaying time on the Me finder.
My daughter has already managed to knock of the front facia and has been lost on several ocassions.
I think the concept is good, but i think they need to improve on the inputting of the numbers and accessing them. Also incorporating a time display on the Me finder.

"Overall a great product!"
I was really pleased to receive the me finder product, it took me a few attempts to enter the names and numbers my fault as i was trying to type them too quickly but got there in the end!!
My little boy is 5 years old first i asked him what he thought about the me finder which he replied it's a monkey like me! and he liked the fact that it looked like a normal watch and quite cool to wear!! i explained to him what the watch did so he knew if he ever got lost he could find someone in uniform and show them the watch to get mummy's number and ring me.
so after explaining what the watch did he has made sure he has been wearing it every time we go out since!! although i was not going to lose him just to test the product i did show it to a lifeguard at the swimming pool at our local beach who thought that it was a great product esp when kids are on holiday he said it would have helped him out a few times if others had them.
so far i have nothing bad to say about the product in fact i felt like giving it to a few different people esp after seeing a little boy wondering round on his own he actually got on a bus without his mother noticing! a great product which i will certainly be recommending to others for sure esp the mothers at school!
