"brilliant short break"
We stayed at the Marriot Aberdeen for 3 nights, had 2 rooms one for the girls and one for us with the boys, interconnecting rooms plus we got asked if we wanted them by the poolside, spa and gym area, which was a brilliant bonus. Spa area was lovely to relax and rejuvenate in, fresh towels and very clean environment.
Everything was great, breakfast is way too expensive at £15 per adult, that too cornflakes, fruit and an omellette it would be fine if it was a breakfast buffet. We did not have dinner there as there wasn't enough time with all the sightseeing!
Having the minibar was good (especially to store babys milk etc but what made me cross was the maids who service the room and minibar restocked the minibar and put the milk out on the desk :( are they allowed to do that? .
The outside is a bit scruffy, but inside is really nice, but not as posh as Marriots in the East, where they are classed as 5*.
Around 5 miles from city centre without much public transport, taxi costs £17-20 one way and without car it would be very difficult. Ideal for airport.
We would definately go there again.
