"Well made but a little small"

I bought this as I was nervous about breastfeeding in public. On arrival, I really like the material and the idea of the scarf is great. I used this for about a month. However, I found it a little small - I'm only a size 12 so not a particularly big lady and my baby isn't bigger than average either. But I found it a bit fiddly to use and don't feel that it really covered my stomach. In the end I copied the idea of the mama scarf by buying a very large square scarf, folding it in half and knotting the ends - this was much better as it was bigger for me. However, after a couple of months, I just now wear a large vest under my tops (pulling the top beneath my bra)and lifting up my top layer. It definitely gave me confidence at the beginning of my breastfeeding though that I could do it in public. Now I feel an expert, it doesn't worry me as much. On the positive side, I can also use the mamascarf as an actual scarf for me so that's great and I don't feel that I wasted my money.

"Would not leave home without it!"

I was really nervous about breastfeeding in public but this REALLY helped me. It covers you up and can't be pulled off, does not draw attention to you, your baby feeds better as they aren't distracted but you can still maintain eye contact (this was really important to me). As well as this, the way it works is that it gives your arm support which is perfect for when you are out and about and don't have your feeding cushion to hand and it went with everyhting in my wardrobe, which meant I could wear anything I wanted to feed in.

Another bonus is that it folds up so small it can fit in my jeans pocket. I would highly recommend to breastfeeding mums and mums to be. I have even used as a scarf too!!
