"Fab and Funky!"

I have been using reusables part time on my 4 month boy for a couple of months now. I have to double boost his bamboo nappies or they leak so I was a bit dubious to try a microfibre nappy as bamboo is supposed to be super absorbent. However I was very very impressed as it lasted longer than the bamboo nappies.

When I was told the nappy would be leopard print I did think it would be a bit tacky looking. When it arrived I was very impressed as it was lovely looking and very very soft to touch. I would also say that the nappies are very good value for money. As these are a birth to potty nappy too they are even better. I am definitely considering ditching my bamboo and getting some more of these.

The poppers on the nappy are very strong and easy to use. It was a nice snug fit too. I am very much looking forward to using it again.

"Soft and absorbant"

Having used cloth at some stage for all four of my children, and from birth on my 22 month old, i consider myself a bit of a critic. First impressions of this nappy were that the design was perhaps a bit garish. However, once i had it out of the packet i was won over. The softness was unbeliveable! My little girl liked stroking it, i had to prise it away in order to put it on her. The inserts were easy to put in, which in my experience can be quite a rare thing! The fit was good on my little skinny minnie, with minimum leg gape. The popper fastenings were very easy to use. I put it on her for the first time after lunch, which is one of her heavy wetting times. It lasted 3 hours! I was actually amazed. Normally a brand new nappy would not last that long on her! After the washing process a few days later, she wore it again. At night this time (the ultimate test!). It lasted from 7pm-5am. Pretty good for a "normal" nappy (we normally use dedicated night nappies).

Overall i would definitely consider buying more of these nappies, as they are very effective. I would like diffent designs though, but i'm a sucker for pretty nappies :)

"Great!"

We've tried quite a few reusable nappies- this was the first I'd heard of these nappies and on seeing the leopard print fabric I couldn't wait to get it!

Appearance-wise you have the various press studs which will adjust to every size needed - and there's also a handy guide on the wrapper they come in (something I've never seen on any other nappies - a definite plus!). The fabric is really soft as well.

We put the nappy on my daughter and found it was a very good fit - nice and snug although I might have fastened it a bit too tight for the upper leg - but after almost four hours we had no leakage.

I've not tried the nappy overnight, as we've found even disposables which claim to work for 12 hours seem to leak, though I would definitely give it a try.

Also, extra bonus point for cuteness - once my daughter had her nappy on she looked like Bam Bam from The Flintstones!!

I can't wait to get it washed so she can wear it again.

"Really absorbent"

First thing I wanted to do was to say that excellent customer service from babaandboo is outstanding. I was assigned the shoes to review and saw the nappies at the same time and put in an order for 5 after Eve had replied to questions I asked her at about 10 pm on Wednesday night and the nappies and shoes arrived in the post on Friday.

I have used cloth with both of my boys but as they are both fairly heavy wetters have struggled to find nappies which would hold them overnight. I took Eve's advice and boosted them with bamboo boosters (already had these from his day nappies anyway) and they lasted for a good 13 hours. I was even more impressed as I only prewashed them twice on a normal wash cycle (too impatient to use them)

The nappies are really soft and fluffy and have washed up really well and have come off the line softer than his bamboo day ones. The designs are absolutely lovely and there is a wide range to chose from. I think they are excellent value for money, and I have some that were twice the price in my collection and which don't perform any better.

The only group that I would have any hesitation in recommending them for would be very slim younger babies, and this is only because the legs are still a little loose on Theo (who is very slim) even on the smallest setting and I'm not sure that they would contain the pre weaning runny poos especially for breast fed babies on a child with skinny legs. It's not really a criticism of the nappy but I'd hate for someone to buy them and be put off cloth, especially as these have contained his poo really well now he's on solids.

"Value with style & efficiency"

If I had been asked if I would use reusable nappies 12 months ago I would not have hesitated in dismissing them immediately.

I'm glad I opened my mind to the concept as not only have they already saved me money, they will continue to do so for at least the next 2 years plus will stand the test if time for any future children too.

The baba+boo nappies are easy to use, the instructions provided are really helpful when you're first starting out with them. The fabrics are so soft on baby's skin & the durability really quite astounding. My little girl is such a wriggler & these keep her dry for hours.

I have bought several of the designs which are constantly being updated with new styles - they look so much nicer under a dress than a disposable, I am so glad that the warmer weather is arriving as we can show them off now without covering them up with tights!

I am a repeat customer of baba+boo because the quality of the products is excellent and the lady who runs it is just lovely, nothing is too much trouble.

Highly recommended!
