"Good gift for a new baby"
I received the 9-12 month pack for my daughter - it contained a cream vest, hat, scratch mittens and bib. The items are good quality and made from a lovely soft cotton. I have washed the vest over 10 times now and it has still retained its shape, and both vest and bib have survived a couple of 95 degree washes to get out stubborn food stains without any problems. The vest is easy to get over baby's head without the need for fiddly poppers or buttons, and the plain design and neutral colour means it is versatile and can be worn with lots of other colours. The bib is fastened with a single popper at the side, which makes it easy to get on (and more difficult then velcro for baby to pull off!). It is thick enough to stop small liquid spills from going through to clothes and to catch food spills. the bear and rabbit design on the front is very cute!
On the negative side, I felt the hat and scratch mittens were much more suited to a new born baby, and I have not used them at all for my 10 month old baby. However, I do think this would be a lovely gift for a newborn, and the cream option is lovely if you don't know the sex of the baby.
