"Does what it says."
I've had a similar jacket for my 2 girls which they loved so this was perfect for my son and came at the right time just before our holiday! My son loved the jacket, it gave him freedom in the pool along with his sisters. He still has to get his confidence up but i think this jacket will help him a lot with that. I got the gold one and its more of a dull yellow but still very nice.
I havent been able to use the floats yet as my son needs to get his confidence up but i imagine they will help when he gets to swimming.

"great swimming aid"
i had been using a similar jacket for my daughter when she was smaller but had difficulty getting one for her now that she is a bit older, so this one came at the right time.
The jacket was a great help getting her more confident in slightly deeper water in the training pool and for helping her keep her tummy or chest up in the proper position for learning the strokes.
She was comfortable wearing it and she was certainly warmer with it on (she wasn't asking for out because she was cold!!).
I would suggest that the instructions for use and suggested times for removal of the coded floats on the inside of the jacket be a bit larger or be along side the other languges, as they are on a small label on the inside of the jacket in small writting.

"took a while to get used to"
I take my son swimming nearly every week so was very excited to use this. My son at first found it a bit daunting he is used to his armbands and think he was scared he would sink if i let go of him. he paniced a little when i did let go and was kind of lop sided in the water (could just be him) but towards the end of the session he got the hang of it and was bobbing around happy.
great for keeping afloat and looks really nice on 2...didnt hurt him or rub at all like arm bands sometimes do
