"Great, 9 yr old loves it"
When I recieved the kids slanket i was shocked how big it was, as its called kids slanket.
My 9 yr old knew what it was straight away and couldnt wait to try it even though the weather was quite good so if you ask my she is mad.
Well that night she used it while watching tv on the sofa, she liked the fact it is really soft.
The only thing she didn't like was how big it was, (i'm 5ft 1in and can use it) Because she wanted to wear it to the kitchen to et a drink and couldn't because she kept standing on it.
I think its great and wish they done them in different sizes because my two yr old wants one.

"Best thing ever!"
Delivery man knocks, Jaidyn at the door like a whippet on speed as always, sign for package with the speed filled whippet yapping "What is it? Who's it for, Who's it from? Is it mine?" Open package to find a lilac kids slanket "Ooooooooooooooooooooo is that mine?" asks the whippet, ok maybe I should call her Jaidyn for the rest of the review so people don't think I have a talking dog testing a blanket with sleeves, which is basically what a slanket is. I tell her it's for her and her brother and sisters to test, well she IS NOT impressed with that and proceeds to tell me "They're not here, so it's mine....pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssse" (insert fluttering eyelashes here) I just nod in agreement (older kids can test it when she's in bed) We take it out the packet and it's HUGE! After explaining to Jaidyn what it is she's up for trying it straight away, please note that it is boiling hot (well for Scotland it is), she's in shorts & T-shirt and this is a fleecy blanket with rather long sleeves! She jumps up on the sofa (has to lie down apparently) and sticks her arms out for the sleeves. The sleeves need to be rolled up about 6 times for her to be able to see her hands! Tucked in around her neck she looked all cosy and stayed like that for about an hour! She ate her snack 'wearing' it and had her drink. Finally she admitted defeat and wanted it off and emerged all hot and sweaty! Thankfully she's only 3 lol.
The others all had a quick test later on, but they were all too hot to last longer than 5 minutes! Then seeing as it was so long I tried it myself! granted I couldn't quite get it 'on' properly because of the width between the sleeves (well it is a kids one!), but I could still get my arms through and sit comfortably with the laptop. So it will be handy in the winter months for when the kids are in bed and the heating is off.
It's a fantastic idea, after all how many times have you had an ill kiddy tucked up in a blanket only for them to want a drink and have to get their arms out from the cosy blanket? How many times have they then moaned they are too cold again? This eliminates that completely, arms stay cosy at all times. Perfect for sitting watching the TV in the cold weather and still being able to stuff your face with junk food *cough* sorry, apples and grapes!!
Over all I love it, Jaidyn loves it and as the winter starts creeping back upon us (did I really just say that?!!) I'm sure the others will start fighting over it!
Price wise I think it's a bit on the expensive side. It can be up to double the price of a kids character blanket, but that is the only down-side to it.
