"Good value for money"

I have used this car seat in both positions as i have a one month old little boy and a 20month old little boy. When the car seat is in the Group 0 rearward facing position it seems really upright even when it is fully reclined. I also felt my newborns head wasn't supported enough even when using the support cushions included, i felt these could have been more padded as they didn't do the job as well as they could have done. The seat also seems really spacious which has its pros and cons in the rearward facing position. I felt being spacious was good because the baby has plenty of room to grow and you know they won't out grow it too quickly - my eldest son outgrew his first car seat (top brand) at 7 months old in length and width, thankfully he weighed enough he could go in a forward facing group one car seat. The negative side of it being spacious is i felt its a little too spacious for a newborn as i felt he could move around a bit even with the seat belts done up tightly. I also felt that the seat belts looked uncomfortable for him even with the shoulder pads on it seemed quite clumpy.

When i tried the car seat in the forward facing group one position my 20 month old little boy loved it. He seemed perfectly happy in it and when we had it on the floor before putting it in the car he happily sat in it and didn't want to get out. I thought the style and quality was basic but that wasn't a problem for my eldest boy. My 20month old has a couple of inches above his head to the top of the seat so not entirely sure it will last until he's 4 years old (although he is tall for his age) but i have that problem with the car seat (also top brand) he's using in the family car so i think i'll have to wait and see about that. The harness and straps were very easy to adjust, reclining the seat is also very easy, no need to even read the instructions. Fixing it into the car was slightly tricky for me but think thats because in the family car we have isofix so wasn't used to using the 3 point safety belts.

I think overall the carseat is very good value for money. I like the idea of it being a group 0 and 1 carseat so if my husband ever needs to pick up one of the boys from somewhere then all he has to do is change which direction it faces and saves us having to buy two carseats which won't get huge amount of use from. At least with this car seat lasts up to age of 4 so has a longer lifespan than our other carseats. I will try it in the group 0 position again in a month when i feel my newborn needs less support, i would happily put him in it now if the cushions were more padded. We're currently using as a group 1 car seat in my husbands car and we're definitly happy with it and so is my 20 month old.
