"A great film for all"
Karate Kid is an incredible underdog story that moves you and makes you believe in the characters. Young Jaden Smith is a star to watch out for in the future and it looks bright for him. Jackie Chan gives the performance of his career and he has always been great to watch over the years. The scenery in this film is also amazing. This film will warm your heart, open your mind and make you cheer and with weep with happy tears because it is a feel-good movie and good for all ages.

"great family film"
My children had just recently seen all the old karate kid films and really enjoyed them so when we got the new film they were really happy. The plot is based on the original the acting really good quite a bit of story before you get into the action scenes which are not violentjust based on self defence. My children loved it and it kept them quiet for a couple of hours.Im sure they will want to watch it again.

"Great for all."
I was eager to watch this film as i loved the first film. Both me and my husband watched it first before showing it to the rest of the family and we both think it is brilliant. I was worried about there being to much violence however this isn't a film about violence this is a film about skill and control. My son who is 8 also couldn't take his eyes off the screen.
The only thing that i could maybe have a negative about is that it takes about and hour and a half for the main kungfu to happen.
Overall this is a fantasic family watch and will be a firm favourte in our house for sometime to come.

"Great family film"
Being a big fan of the original karate kid films, i was a little sceptical that this version wouldn't match up. I needn't have worried, the film was great. Jaden Smith like his father is quite the little actor and the film is well directed. I have 4 children ranging from 2- 12 and i find in difficult to find films we can all watch as a family that we will all enjoy, however this film was enjoyed by all. Even my 2 year old sat through it all which has only ever happened on peppa pig! Would definately recommend to anyone looking for a family film suitable for all, deffo worth the money :)
