"totally brilliant"
When i received this book i had a quick flick through and tbh i didnt think corey would enjoy it as he only usually likes books with bright pictures and pull flaps but corey loved it! He loves it so much i have to read it twice every night usually he hates having a bedtime story.
My son is behind on his speech but from this book hes learnt a few new words and has started making meow sounds when he sees the picturs of the cat.
The only downfall on this book is the price as i think £11.99 is a bit high.
I would reconmend to any parent with a child aged 3+

"Wonderful illustrations"
I'm so glad we recievd this book to review. It's a lovely book and my 4 year old daughter has enjoyed reading it with me. The story really captured her imagination - I think she likes the idea of cats having secret parties at night, and she would really like to 'get small' and go with them!
I really love the wonderful illustrations in the book. They're really arty and quite different to the usual children's book illustrations. It's great to see something different that will really stimulate children's imaginations. It's especially good for slightly older children like my daughter, as the book looks more 'grown-up' than other picture books, but is still easy and simple to read.
It's a Secret is more expensive than most picture books. However, it is a hardback book and is very, very good quality, so it's definitely worth the extra money. The book will last a long time so would make a perfect gift for a child to keep and read again and again.

"Beautiful!"
When I received the book I was quite surprised at the illustrations that it had. The pictures were more artistic than cartoony and I was concerned how my 5 year old niece would handle it. When I took the book round for her, she refused to let it go and was ready for bed by 6 o'clock so she could have her bed time story!!!After reading it to her for the fourth time I managed to sneek away, and when I went back to her she was curled up asleep with the book open on her chest! A definate winner from her and definately a book i would recommend to any mum!
