"Average Read" Not a book that rocked my boat, all common sense like I suppose its meant to be.
Lighthearted read and Chapter 2 summed it all up. Grandparents are no longer old crocks.

"my mum would not recomend" Unfortunatly i found it very boring and unispiring. to me the book just told you what you already knew and
what you would know even if you never had grandchildren/children.
It would be a good book for someone that really doesn't have a clue about babies/kids or even family life.
it would have been nice to have some advice like what the best things to do when the baby/child are being difercult etc.
I found that it was bland and unhelpful Member review by Leanne - Mother of 1 and one on way

"It's all you need!" This book is all you need to read about being a grandparent. It is light hearted, but makes you think too. It doesn't bombard you with information and the summaries at the end of each chapter are straight to the point (very helpful for us 'oldies!!). It would make a great gift for any new grandparent to be. Member review by Margaret - mum to 2, gran to 5
