"Fantastic!"

This book is amazing! So easy to use, and the recipes are really nice. We have had some cracking dishes made by my 11 year old son, who has been dying to get in the kitchen. I have learned some new recipes myself and the pictures are great. Can't recommend this book highly enough, and it's got a funky cover too!!

"Fab recipes"

I love this recipe book. The cover to begin with is very eye catching with very bright colours. Inside the book the pictures are of a very good quality and make the receipes so appealing. It is a very easy to follow cookery book, with receipes that are both tasty and quick to make - my 11 year old daughter has really enjoyed trying out some of the sweet receipes and has found it easy to follow too. I highly recommend this cook book, it has a good mix of 'normal' foods and also something a bit special, also lots of things that the kids will eat. 10 out of 10 from me!

"great for everyday cooking"

This cook book is a treat to the eye, it looks great, its bright, bold and has a great use of pictures.
it starts off by sayin cooking is fun and useful, its a skill once learned you will have for life.
It is aimed at beginners or just normal mums looking for a helping hand in the kitchen.
None of the recipies are too difficult or complicated. It is all food a busy mum can make without taking all afternoon.
There is a healthy eating segment at the beginning explaining how to maintain a healthy diet, explaining each food type and the benefits they give.
Then it moves on to safety and hygiene in the kitchen, abbreviations and hints and tips.
The receipes then begin, the pictures alone make you want to go make the food, the directions are very clear. The book is almost artistic, and really does catch your eye. The recipies are ones i would use and i have successfully made a number of them without breaking into a sweat or panic.
At the back of the book is tricks and tips, things like how to chop an onion properly, how to cook rice.
Then baking techniques, like kneading dough or seperationg an egg.
They even have info on herbs and spices with pictures so you an identify them.

All in all its a really good book if you are a beginner in the kitchen or just needing a bit of a help.
