"good wash"

I thoughtthe detergent made a good job of the washing, it was clean and smely good. It is hard to tell if it is better than my usual brand without using it for a few weeks. I didnt see any obvious difference that would encourage me to change to halo.

"Good wash"

The liquid was easy to use, everything came up clean but the smell was not great. Difficult to comment on the claim to rid of MRSA but a good liquid and would probably use again.

"Halo - kills superbugs"

I wasn't sure whether to use it on my daughter's clothes as she has eczema. A week or so later an opportunity arose to use it when my daughter had a stomach bug and let's just say we went through several changes of clothes that day! I figured in for a penny in for a pound so put her bedclothes in too!
It did a fairly decent job of removing stains etc at 30 degrees. The smell wasn't the nicest I've used but wasn't unpleasant.
I've been checking for any flare ups on her skin and so far (5 days) nothing, so not so bad on this count too.
As for claims of killing superbugs/mrsa etc well there's no real way for us to test that one.
The sample just wasn't enough to convince me to change from my usual washing detergent.

"Hard to review"

When I used this washing liquid I was impressed that it is designed to kill superbugs and bacteria, however, for a normal everyday household wash, I didn't feel it was particularly relevant. I did a usual 30 degree wash and it did get the clothes nice and clean, but no more so than the brand I usually use.

I have to say though, that I really did not like the smell. It wasn't at all offensive but did smell quite artificial and a bit like an antibacterial household kitchen/bathroom spray. It was okay for linens and towels, but I didn't like it on our clothes.

Overall I think this is as good as any other product on the market that I have used, but nothing special for household use. I think it would be much more suited for business use, i.e. hospitals and hotels, where huge quantities of laundry are washed everyday and a great importance is attached to preventing serious bacteria and viruses.

"non bio detergent that claims to kill certain superbugs"

it comes in liquid form and smelt quite nice. it claims to kill a number of different superbugs such as mrsa, i dont feel that i am able to comment on this as its not something that i can prove. i washed a load of my clothes on a 30 degree wash and the clothes did come up as clean as my normal wash would but i didnt have anything with stains on so i dont know how effective it would be against stains. it states on the packet that it is kind to sensitive skin but i chose not use it on my childrens clothes as they both suffer from eczema and any little change could make it flare up. i dont think i would buy this in the future, purely because of my childrens skin. i have found a detergent that is kind to both of their skin. i would however recommend this product to others.

"not what expected"

I found it easy eough to use but honestly don't feel it washed clothes to the standard of my normal detergent. With a younger child I had normal everyday stains(eg mud and food) which it didn't completely remove and the items had to be rewashed. The smell I really didn't care for and found it lingered in my washing machine. As for killing superbugs I can't comment on this. I have found it did cause a slight irritation on my skin(when clothes washed in it were worn).
I won't be rushing out and changing my washing detergent to this anytime soon.

"Difficult to tell"

Received a sample of detergent to use, but only enough for one wash. Easy to use, just put in the drawer on washing machine. Cleaned clothes to standard of normal washing liquid, but difficult to tell as was only one wash. Won't be changing from what I use just yet!

"Won't be swapping"

Love the idea of all the "bug killing" and so forth but obviously can't really comment on how good it is at that?! It's not like I can see the germs to know they've gone.
That aside I did my wash as normal, bits of nursery clothes and some towels. It all came out clean enough but I can't say I really cared for the fragrance. To be honest though it's difficult to give a proper judgement after just one wash. My gut instinct though is that it wasn't anything special and I won't be buying it.

"Not sure about this one"

When it arrived I saw that there was only enough for one wash. I used it straight away on the dirty pants etc. that had come home from nursery. I liked the smell; i usually use a non bio gel in the washer. I did the wash as I would usually, 30 degrees. The washing came fairly clean although I would have expected her pants to come cleaner. After one wash it's hard to say whether it was better.
There are lots of claims about the the illnesses/bacteria it will kill. I will not be changing from my normal washing liquid anytime soon. One wash was fine but it hasn't made me consider changing.

"Not bad"

As I normally use a liquid detergent it was very easy to use, straight into the drawer. It is a milky liquid with a nice fragrance. Washed my clothes (would not try on my sons as one has sensitive skin and do not like changing their washing detergent although it does state that it kind to sensitve skin) at 30 degrees(normally wash at 40) as per the instructions. Washing came out no different to my normal detergent (but probably used less electricity). It states that it is "proven to kill Bacteria Spores such as MRSA & C-Difficile, Halo will also kill Fungicides & Viruses including Swine Flu, Bird Flu and Norovirus", but as I have no way of checking cannot confirm or refute this. As it is slightly more expensive than my normal detergent will probably not be buying it, unless I have any concerns of any of the viruses that it claims to kill.

"nice fragrance"

I was pleased to review this detergent, this is a liquid which is milk like, nice clean smelling fragrance which pours into the machine drawer. This detergent says it kills alsorts of different bugs which is useful. I was pleased with the end result, my clothes smelt clean and fresh, although not all stains were removed, I would use this liquid from time to time, but I prefer my normal detergent.

"Good Idea"

I thought this product was ok. I usually use a detergent you put straight into the washing machine drum, but with Halo you have to put it in the drawer so I was expecting more bubbles than I got. It cleaned the laundry well, although I didnt have any tough stains to shift and it had a nice fragrance. I like the fact that it is Non-Bio, so kinder on skin and I love the fact it claims to kill off certain bugs in your washing, like MRSA, C-Diff, E-Coli etc. The product is average on price so not bad value for money. I suppose it comes down to how worried you are about the harmful bugs in your laundry as to whether you would like this product more than your usual detergent.

"Got rid of some stains"

I tried out the sample on a rather yukky load of washing over the weekend. The baby had managed to poo everywhere over night so her white bed sheets had to be washed. I was very impressed that all the marks on the sheets went and as the liquid claims to kill off the germs as well that must be good. However in the load there was also my sons white polo shirts from his school uniform and the stains on those as still there and will need to be re washed before he can wear them for school again.

Halo is a liquid which you add to the draw of the machine, and in the instructions it advises that you don't overload the machine so I was very careful only to do a half load.

This is a product that I might have in the house for when we have bugs, but I will probably stick to our normal washing powder for the every day as we are on a water meter so I want to know that the clothes will wash clean first time and I can do full loads.

"Son wasn't happy"

The Halo non bio laundry liquid is easy to use.I don't usually use liquids that go in the drawer of the washing machine. I kept looking at the washing machine expecting to see bubbles through the door but none so wasn't expecting the clothes to be clean.

They came out clean and the smell was nice however my son hated the smell on his clothes and didn't want to wear the clothes that was washed in halo..so unfortnately we won't be buying it.

I must admit my washing machine smells nicer so the liquid has debugged that.

AS it kills mrsa and superbugs i do think it's value for money but not for us.
