"My son loved this!"
I made the cookies with my 2 year old son and we both had a great time!
We followed the instructions and had lots of fun throwing flour around (sorry, that's meant to be sprinking on the worktop to make a floured surface) and quality controlling the icing before it went on the biscuits.
The dough was a bit sticky but rolled out OK and he loved cutting out the biscuits. I had to try hard to get him to stick to the heart shaped cutter provided and at one point he ran off to get his play doh cutters! The cookies came out of the oven when lovely and golden but had managed to spread so weren't quite as nice a shape as they went in, but I may have made the dough too wet.
The icing went down well (mainly all over his fingers and then in hs mouth) but lots managed to make its way onto the cookies, although I think I didn't add enough water so it wasn't as easy to spread or control as hoped.
Using the tube of jam was great fun and the finished biscuits really were delicious if a little unsophisticated looking (or should I say "scrumptious", my son's verdict).
I'd definitely get these again, a great fun, easy to use kit that made yummy biscuits that went down well with the whole family, and my wife was impressed with the results (and not just because she hadn't had to make them herself!).

"easy peasy"
we decided to make these cookies yesterday and me my 3 children and 3 year old nephew started to bake as the ladies of the house sat and drank tea.
what can i say, cant cook wont cook is my title but i managed these with ease. didnt think they would be so easy. trickiest part was measuring the butter as so small, should really be a knob of butter would be easier. i really enjoyed doing them and all the children found it easy that includes me.
we baked the cookies for 7 minutes and then decorated them. the finished cookies looked and tasted fantastic. only down side is they are very moreish so we could have easily baked another couple of packets.
when we gave the ladies a fresh cuppa and their cookie they were very impressed.
a great product and easy peasy to use.

"Delicious and easy!"
Me and my son made these cookies together...well I made them he supervised :)
The instructions were clear and concise however like others have mentioned the 2 spoons of water was not enough I had to add an extra 1 and a half to be able to combine the mixture together! I also managed to get 8 cookies out of the mixture not just 6 like the packet says, which is a GREAT bonus!
The icing is fantastic, so tasty and easy to make and decorate with! I would definately buy these again as they were a hit with my partner, son and friends! Needless to say they did not last very long! (I am eating the last one as I type, yumyum!)
Highly recommended!!

"yummy"
Both my children love to make biscuits and cake's so could'nt wait to get stuck in.
The instructions were easy to follow, and everything you needed came with the kit, all you needed to add was water, also liked the fact that you got a cookie cutter with the kit.
The cookies were very tasty and did last long in our house once they were finished.
This product is great for a no fuss cooking session with your child, you don't hve to spend ages weighing things out because it's all done for you.
The cookie kit got a thimbs up in our house and would deffinatly use again.

"yummy "
My daughter hollie and i had great fun making these cookies,i found the cookies quite easy to make and liked the idea that the instructions came of the box to allow you to put them to the side whilst making the cookies.
I emptied the ingriedients into a mixing bowl for hollie and let her mix it together which she had lots of fun doing, i then helped at the end to get the mixture to bind together to form the cookie dough.
Hollie rolled out the cookie dough and enjoyed cutting the heart shapes out herself (im a big girl and can do it on my own) which is what she told me.
We then placed onto a baking tray and then into the oven they went to bake, whist waiting for them to cool down the biscuits were decorated using the pink icing mix and jam icing tube supplied .... there was plenty to decorate all 8 cookies.
Mummy, Daddy and Hollie eventually got to taste them and they were so yummy.
Wetook lots of photos whilst baking and won a greenes goody bag with lots more items in including more cookies with love which we'll look forward to making again, will deffinatley buy these.

"Delicious"
My son & I had great fun making these cookies. The instructions were easy to use but was concerned about how little liquid was needed but managed to bind the mixture together. Managed to get 7 cookies from the mixture which delighted my son!!
Decorating the cookies was great fun, not one biscuit looked the same. We tried saving biscuits for other members of the family, but they were so delicious, we ate them all between the two of us. Have bought them since as they were so delicious & very good value fo money.

"Yummy scrummy cookies "
When Isla went down for her afternoon nap I thought it was a great opportunity for me and Hannah to spent some time together and bake Daddy some cookies for when he came home from work.
I found these cookies quite easy to make and liked the idea that the instructions came of the box to allow you to put them to the side whilst making the cookies. I prepared all the mixture for Hannah. Like other reviews the 2 teaspoons of water that was added was not enough and i had to add an extra two in order to get the mixture to stick together. Once the mixture was ready i let Hannah sprinkle the floor on the worktop and help me roll the dough out and use the cutter to make the heart shapes. The cutter was simple to use and even Hannah managed to use it with very little help.
Once the cookies were cooked and cooled Hannah helped me to ice them. A very messy job but we got there in the end. We maybe added a little too much water as the icing was a little runny but was ok once it had set. Hannah found the tube quite hard to squeeze so I did that part for her.
Overall the cookies were very yummy and we all enjoyed eating them once Daddy got home from work. Even Isla had a little taste.

"Yummy, yummy, in my tummy!"
My 2 eldest boys were so happy when they saw that we were making these cookies! They love helping me in the kitchen, especially when it's something sweet! lol.
We took all of the ingredients out of the box & I read the instructions, which were very easy to follow! I emptied the ingredients into a large mixing bowl & both boys took it in turns to mix the dough. I gave them a bit of a hand too as it got towards the end. They both then rolled the dough out & enjoyed cutting the heart shapes out with the cutter provided. I then put them in to bake!
When they came out & were cool enough we mixed the icing up & the boys decorated the cookies with the gel pen & icing. The left over icing was soon eaten whilst the toppings set on the cookies!
The boys all loved the cookies, including my youngest & there was even enough for me, daddy & my neice who popped over just in time to sample them! lol
Delicious cookies that everyone can help to make! Definitely a hit in our house!
(There are some pics in my blog of the boys making & eating them too!)

"Very Yummy & Fun too"
Was so glad we received these to try. We decided to make them to celebrate my dad coming out of hospital after a heart bypass operation.
The girls were very excited to be making special heart biscuits for grandad.
We got our aprons on and got everything ready that we needed on the table, the instructions coming off the box is a very good idea made it so much easier to make these cookies.
I got the mixture ready and then my girls helped me put flour on the table and then took turns rolling out the dough.
I put them on the baking tray and into the oven and eagerly waited for them to cook.
Once cooked and cooled we got to the fun part...the decorating. I think there was more icing on us than the biscuits I have messy girls, they also liked taste testing the icing lol.
The biscuits are now already for when grandad comes home from hospital which hopefully will be today.
I will put the photos on later of baking fun.

"very yummy cookies"
The day these cookies arrived through the post my little boy wanted to make them and got very excited as he loves baking. I managed to hide them until the next day when we had more time, mixing all the ingredients together was very easy but we found that 2 teaspoons was not enough water so added a little more. The cookie cutter was a nice size and Jayden found it easy to cut the heart shapes out. We did find the mixture made more than what it stated on the box so this was a bonus as extra cookies lol.
The icing was very easy to make by just adding water but you do have to be really careful to not add too much. Jayden had great fun icing the cookies and decorating them with the tube but he did struggle to squeeze it so alittle help from mummy was needed. The overall cookies was very yummy and we all enjoyed eating them. We did find they were a little sweet but as the odd treat it was very tasty.

"baking fun!"
This is a great kit to use with children, or even to use yourself if you are not the most confident of bakers!
With the snow falling outside and Tumbletots cancelled, today seemed the prefect bake with (3 year old) Betsie day :)
We donned aprons (and a chefs hat in Betsie's case) and got our Greens cookie kit ready. First thing to note was the fact that the instruction panel very easily pops out of the back of the box to form a recipe card .... very handy to use!
The instructions were easy to follow and pretty fool proof, only having to add a little butter and water. The dough was a little stiff to mix at the start but once mixed was easy for Betsie to roll and cut out the heart shapes. We found that although the instructions stated 6 cookies, we were able to easily make 9 slightly thinner ones to give a crunchier cookie!
Once cooked and cooled the biscuits were decorated using the pink icing mix and jam icing tube supplied .... there was plenty to decorate all 9 cookies.
All in all a fun activity on a rainy day, with the added bonus of some very yummy cookies to eat afterwards!

"scrummy treats"
well me and my daughter hope had a crack at making these greens cookie with love that we luckily had sent to us the other day, we both got our aprons on and washed our hands and were ready to go, the packaging was nice and bright and colourful and me and hope found the instructions on the back of the box nice and easy to follow, i liked the fact that you could remove the instructions from the box using the perforated edges this made things easier rather than trying to faff about with the whole box, the packets were easy to open and hope did a really good job at adding the ingredients to the bowl, i found the measuring of the 10 grams of butter very fiddly to weigh out as it was such a small amount to weigh but got there in the end, also i found that the 2 teaspoons of water that was added to the cake mix was not enough to make the mix stick together and form a dough so me and hope decided to add a little more which seemed to work better, we found it very easy to mix the ingredients together and hope really enjoyed kneading the dough, it was easy to roll out (although rather sticky) so a fair amount of flour was needed on the work surface to stop it sticking, hope found it very easy to use the cookie cutter as it was easy for her to grip hold of, we popped them into the oven and they were done within ten minutes so really quick and easy to do, i think i made the icing a wee bit to runny so it did run down the sides a bit but soon set hard, then we decorated them with the tube of black currant icing which was easy enough to use with help from daddy but i did find there was alot in the tube more than was needed to decorate them (will use it for the next lot of cooking we do together) we had them for hopes second birthday and the kids loved them however the adults did find them a bit to sweet ,all in all a nice easy quick cookie to bake me and hope loved making them together and the kids loved them :)

"A fun and easy way to bake!"
Today I used a baking set by Green’s to make some special cookies for my boyfriend Nick. The set was easy and quick to use but unfortunately, Nick’s oven is much more powerful than any other oven I’ve ever used so I managed to completely burn the cookies! I did actually try the cookies and you could tell that if they weren’t so burnt they would probably have been quite tasty.
The set came with pink strawberry icing and a tube of blackcurrant writing icing which I really wanted to use so I baked a batch of orange and ginger cupcakes to use them on. I’ve never used writing icing before but the tube in the set was easy to use and the cupcakes looked really good. I would definitely buy this kind of set again but will make sure I know the oven before I try to bake anything!
