"very good value for money" Hi all,
I was asked to write a review for this item which i will have no problem doing as i could talk about this buggy for quite awhile!
It has one seat infront of the other which is fab for going shopping as it means that you dont have to think twice about whether it will fit down the aisles, only con about this is sometimes you can misjudge it when turning a corner as it is quite long. Speaking of shopping it has a very big storage underneath to store all your shopping for great if you do a lot of shopping & walk rather than using a car, only problem though is when little one at the back wants to sleep if you lie it back all the way you can thenm not get back into the shopping, bit of a pain but you can still get to it round the sides (to be honest though i think all double buggys are a bit like this!).
Mine looks different to this one as it is blue and a beige colour but the material is really soft so very comfy for your children, again the con with this is that if you get mud on it, it is harder to get off than other materials although you can take all bits off and wash them.
Mine is a graco sport tandem buggy i think, it doesnt have a particular model number but it is on the graco site, although the colour may have changed again as i saw a lady with similar one but in purple rather than blue! It is very easy to open and close as it is all held together by a hook at the side so easy to do, even with one holding onto your hand!
It is quite heavy to lift though when putting in your boots and does take up quite a bit of space,we have a vauxhal vectra so buggy fits no problem but it doesnt fit in my sisters car which is a corsa so you need to be wary of this if you are considering purchasing this buggy.
The thing i like about this pram is my particular model can have a car seat that slots into the buggy (like a single travel system) so this is very handy when the baby is young as you can just take baby out of the car seat and slot it into the pram, thus baby stays asleep! hopefully!
It has big hoods on the top so very protective when windy or wet and raincover fits beautifully over the top.
The front seat has a foot rest for the older one which is very handy and also it has a tray that goes over the top so they can put things on it, although it is not as big as some.
The only thing i would say is that you cant adjust the straps very tightly on the front seat which is a bit of a problem if your eldest is not very big for its age as my daughter tends to push her arms out and then the pram sways about as she doesnt sit still!
You can buy a cosy toes for the front seat aswell which is very handy for those cold months, it just simply poppers over the foot rest and around the bars at the side so very easy to use with other items, raincover is just as easy aswell.
I paid about £130 for the pram nad then the car seat was about £40 on top but i think for a double buggy that includes a travel system for your little one is excellent value, although it has a few faults like the straps and the basket i would still say it is well worth the money.
I think overall this pram is better suited to children with a bigger age gap between the two children (there is 19months between mine). Member review by sarah - mum of two little cheeky girliess
